Okay... So, I've been back a week. And, a lot has been going on.

No bitching or moaning.... Just been more or less quiet for a bit....

    Anyway...
So, I need some insight on suspension...
This was shot somewhere in Alabama on the trip down...
    20191222_140154.jpg

Definitely sitting low in the ass.
Kept hitting the bumpstops while set-up for road trip....
After all the lessons I have learned in life, this truck will never see anything more than 6112/5160 combo. But, the rear is the trick.

    I'm pretty content with ride/handling.

@crashngiggles or anyone else with the billies... What is in the rear. I have a consistent 100-200 in the bed/over the rear axle AT THIS POINT.

    Any thoughts?

    Otherwise....

This is what I have going right now...

unfortunately they are 18s not 17s

how long have you had it painted and how is it holding up? it will probably stay silver awhile as a color change is lower on my list.
I also grew up with obsessing over a modded black f150 with a silver topper so this doesn’t bother me as much as it should

I've got 6112s/5160s and always have at least 200lbs. A cap on all the time plus tools and some other things. I have Dakar leaf springs. I also tow a 27ft travel trailer that weighs around 5-5500lbs while keeping the cap in the bed and adding two dogs with their crates.

I have always had a cap and generally carry 200 lbs on top of that everyday. Medium dakars is a good place to start or even the ICON RXT leafs. It works great with the 6112/5160 setup

    Dakar mediums... perfect.

I mean, lets face it, with the inspection laws here, plus, the typical usage back home... anything more than the 6112/5160 is a waste.

That is why I asked yall.... thanks.

I will also add, being a responsible adult, SUCKS....
