I like to say if you can't adapt then don't get 1.
Then I like to say isn't adapting being human?

 

I guess I don't understand why you can't aim a little to the side. And how would you get it in the tent. I can't imagine it's any different than pissing out the door or a ground tent.

 

If it's any consolation I open my window and just jump out, then jump back in...what ladder

 

My RTT is on a trailer though and I have no problem getting my dog in and out on account of.... adapting
He has his own set of stairs, sometimes I use them too

 

I'll be unloading this for my parents in the spring...I think it's got like 12k miles on it but not something I can talk my wife into. It's ok to drive, not great on fuel (no surprise). I wish they had gone with a sprinter van conversion.

RTT sounds appealing to me and my wife as well . Only problem is that she can’t or wouldn’t be able to get in and out due to her back issues. Sure sounds cool to be able to off road and find a nice place to go ....

2am piss is no issue. I'm a drywaller by trade. Even though I don't work in the field anymore, I do remember the days when we did piece work and pissed in a jug. The 7 minutes it took to walk out to the porta pot was money out of your pocket.

 

Why not just get a teardrop trailer? This is an actual question not trying to be a pain in the arse. If I was towing a trailer for an RTT I'd just get one of the rugged "overland" camper trailers and not have an RTT. Have you ever had issues with maneuverability? That's part of why I like a contained bed camper is it keeps everything moving and small, easy to maneuver. I have seen the RTT mounted to trailers before too though.

They're aluminum so I guess it would just be pitting....

How much do you guys think I could charge for a funnel worm clamped to a like 6' piece of tubing to piss in out of a RTT. I could call it the Overlund Tactical Tinkle Tube (patent pending/ copyright 2020). Maybe put some molle on it, and hook and loop for patches. I'm thinking $74.99. thoughts?

 

I'm thinking 1 per pack, repackage water balloons to stretch over the tip and pee into, then tie them off and dispose as normal. 5.99/each. And for the environmentally friendly, a biodegradable corn based version for 7.99/each.

 

@tacobell007 , Drew congratulations on the new job. I really hope it exceeds all of your expectations and I know you will knock it out of the park. The new area also gives you a bigger offroad playground to wheel in. Let us know when you get settled so we can come up to visit and wheel!
