Is this the unibody one? I wouldn't lift that. Probably won't have a locker. It's probably going to be similar to the ridgeline. But yeah I'd do the same. Only reason I ended up in a trd is because it was like 1 or 2k more than the base trim SR. Otherwise I tend toward base trim too.

I'm not sure if its a uni-body, but now that you mention it the chances might be high that it is :(

Heard the smaller Ranger could be built on the Fiesta platform like the Courier.

would make sense, if they are gonna keep it cheap, they can't be designing a whole new truck from scratch.

I'm thinking poor first quarter results...buy post earnings...for solid stocks like RCL, NCLH, DAL, JBLU, LUV, DIS...The decrease in oil costs and abundance of fuel will keep overhead down and post 9/11 the airlines layed off thousands of workers...nothing but riding it out here. I wish I had more dry powder...

I don't do this but I highly recommend NRZ...I've owned it so long with a 10% dividend that my price on the stock is 0. I reinvest. It's down to $14 which is an absolute steal...

All my armor came raw and has the same painting layers on it. I'm a rep for SOS Concepts

Mine have become pretty janky. Sand, clean, rust converter primer, self etch primer, Rust-Oleum black, then duplicolor bed coating. Rust forming everywhere and definitely worn where I step. Going to be taking them off and stripping them then repainting. Any tips to hopefully have something that holds up better? Might put some grip tape on top

MRO (maintenance repair and overhaul) was hit harder by SARS than 9/11. At least my repair station was.

Ah, didn't know you were with SOS :p Cool to hear though. I'm guessing even have "them" do it with bedliner, powdercoat, etc. will end up maybe lasting another few months/an extra year but will need touch up itself eventually anyway.

How long did they last? I like the idea of grip tape, but I'm 5'10 stock height, don't really need a step to get in. Might help get to the bed but I've got a short bed, not a whole heck of a lot of step space behind the cab before the wheel well anyway.

I put grip tape on my dad's, but his are powder coated. Prep work is the key for painting and having it hold up, clean area to paint is a happy area

Lasted maybe 3 years. Thought I did a pretty good job of cleaning them. It's funny like metal isn't exposed in some areas but it's red from rust. Tempted to get a set linexd especially since I'm picking up a part time

Yeah but I'm cheap. And I could do a white linex or something :D I'd do bedliner rather than powdercoating.

That's not bad. I'd be fine with doing a touch up every other year.

Sounds like I'll be getting a set of raw and a DIY bedliner.

Switched threads for BS. I’ve been good, how bout you? You guys still meet up on the trails occasionally? I would love get back out there some day. My old taco is more of a work truck these days, 150k on her and still going strong. Time for some upgrades/maintenance!

I would love a turbo Baja. I had a 2004 Outback H6 LL Bean for a while (the generation the Baja was based on) and it was a tank. Regretted trading it. I look for another one occasionally but the H6s are few and far between and usually loaded with rust.

I have not been impressed with newer Subarus--a friend has a loaded 2018 Forester XT and it's got tons of road-noise, passenger seat feels like I'm sitting on a church pew, and they made the driver assistance tech as annoying as they possibly could. The infotainment is also pretty bad for 2018--no Android Auto and he complains about how long it takes to index a flash drive of music.

FYI, I have no idea of the cost but I just bought all the Weathertechs for my new RAV4 and the OE RAV4 all weather mats are nicer than the Weathertechs. It was a $350 mistake.

I see Rhode island has a state of emergency for Corona virus. Someone in my company has it. They, with a few people they worked next to, are on paid quarantine.
