    I hate our office microwave. I swear that at 1:59 your food is still refrigerator temp, and at 2:00 it's instantly transformed into Liquid Hot Mag-ma. The trick is to open the door at 1:595, blow on it twice, hop around on one foot, and THEN you can eat it without melting your face.

    Think of it like a story to tell in the future - when she was born :p

    I learned the secret for my office mics. Turn the power down to 50 and leave it in longer, works so much better. Takes a bit longer but worth it. I don't have a mic at home and hardly use one, so it's like a magic machine to me. I reheat most meats in the instant pot (PS, it's a little harder to clean up, but so worth it).

    Ours just has preprogrammed settings, like "Reheat" "Soup" "Beverage" etc. no option for power or manual times. :annoyed:
