Bought, 31,500 plus taxes and 500 buck documents

Now to figure out what mods were done to it. It may have had a super charger installed. I am not sure how to figure out what factory look was.

 

The 81 was just horrendous, more recalls than I don't know what. My mom said it was too slow, and for her to say that....

 

One after my own heart..does she like horror movies?

 

Is state-to-state travel still banned or frowned upon?
I am looking at trucks, mainly in MA, and wondering if I could legally travel there from NY state?

 

It's recommended that you quarantine for 14 days, as far as I know it's not law. They're just trying to deter travel. It's not like the damn beetles, COVID in NY is the same as it is here. Just wear a mask, make smart decisions with social distancing and wash your hands frequently.

Rhode Island and Maine are the only New England stares with a “rule” instead of a “recommendation” for traveling. Actually I don’t know about Vermont to be fair. But mass nh and ct are recommendations to quarantine. If you’re staying there after traveling.

depends how far you’re going. Albany to lee is what like 20 minutes? The way I see it a geographic/population cluster/regional border matters more than a state border here. I’m in east providence but go to seekonk mass almost daily. But it’s three seconds from my house. Yet some of Rhode Island on the other side of the bay is far more separated than seekonk just in natural borders and grouping.

 

Not really,the blood and gore thing just doesn't work for her. More the mind fuck type movies. But she has a fight to her.

 

We are trying to figure this out as well. Like what states will I need to drive through cause we are not "allowed" to stop and what states can we stay for a few days and stock up in there stores. Poked around earlier looking for a website, but couldn't really find anything that gave me clear info.

 

My Mom had a 1991 Escort Wagon. It was the worst car in the world, perhaps the single worst car ever made. I loathed that car. It nearly bankrupted my Mom because she needed it to get to work and it broke almost every month to the tune of $300 for about a year. She was in a place where she couldn't take on a new car, or even a good used car, so she just kept pumping cash into that festering turd of an automobile.

It finally failed at 106,000 miles when the transmission gave out. It was on it's 3rd or 4th exhaust system, the suspension was straight up dead. None of the gauges worked, the radio would get scalding hot to the touch, the door locks were broken, it was just awful. It had an 80 MPH speedometer. I couldn't bury it back when the gauges still worked. I tried and couldn't do it. The happiest day was when that car failed because it forced my Mom to give up on it. I ended up buying her a $1,000 car to just get by, which turned into a series of better cars as things got better. She's very happy with her 2019 Forester. I'm just happy she doesn't have a POS anymore.

My best memory of that car was seeing it in the junkyard.

 

when’s the trip? I’d say within a few weeks Rhode Island will be fine for traveling into without a problem. I think travel through isn’t restricted it’s really if you’re traveling to stay to self quarantine for a few weeks.

Maine is the local hard ass actually. Mills kept the orders for a long time. Basically the same day Gina said go for it down in RI mills said “no were staying locked down, right on bitches!”

If mills opened up Maine you’d have half of NY there within a day.

 

we can't leave till after June 12th I think, and yes Mills is not taking any chance. I am not sure how I truly feel, we need the tourist, but would they come? Do we want that many people here? What happens after we have a big uptick in cases, does that extent how long people won't come? In the end the safe approach is what she is going to do. However, she has been pressured to alter her plan, and I think its been good. She did extend something today, maybe civil emergency till june something.

This is America, and you can drive anywhere you want.
They just want/prefer if you to move/vacation to another state and stay they'd would like you to quarantine.
Ya, I can't figure out how to do that also. Go Figure.

 

yeah, problem is a lot of people won’t survive losing a season. Hell a lot of places wouldn’t survive the year just losing Memorial Day weekend. I think she extended state of emergency. That’s kind of a formality to allow the national guard to still be used I think.

In the end that's how I really feel. But, I need to make sure the wife feels comfortable about going out to do this, and following the "rules" is important to role model for our family. Even more importantly is making sure we have camping spots to stop at. The more open stuff is, the less I am concerned about having reservations or very planned camping spots. Normally, we load up and go. It's an adventure is our family travel mantra, and don't always have much of a plan.

 

No matter what, it was going to be a bad season. Like how can you social distance on the pier? Some places are closing main streets to traffic and allowing stores to use the sidewalks, and people walk in the road. Not sure that would work in OOB, unless you limit numbers and how do you do that?

 

Ok, I guess I misunderstood. I didn't know that where looking to camp. Are any camping places open in NE or were you heading West?
