lol, yeah sounds like Maine :)

Yeah I have been to stop and shop/shaws a few times but there's a save a lot at the end of my road. To be fair, I would usually go there anyway. There's also a price rite on the way home from work, I end up there sometimes/most times too.

Morning all! Don't know if I ever even had a chance yesterday to post, so 'morning' for yesterday too

I've been going to Hannaford every couple of weeks, mostly just for fresh stuff, but I'm glad that I had the 'bunker' during the initial surge of idiocy. For about a month the local stores were totally sold out of a LOT of stuff. Some of the shelves are still pretty thin now, at that.

The rice shelf has been empty at my market for the whole time. That stuff must all come from China.

Actually a surprisingly large amount of our rice comes from Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, etc, something like 3 million acres worth.
My theory is that it's been empty for the same reason the pasta shelves have been empty; people can't cook for shit, and those preboxed rice 'sides' are super easy.

So "Near East" is quite a bit more near than I thought.

Probably based in that area, yeah.

Edit- Founded in Worcester in the 40's, apparently. Now owned by Golden Grain Co out of Chicago. But I guess that 'Near Midwest' doesn't have the same ring to it

    It lives?

Typically I use a Buck, sometimes a Gerber if I'm feeling fancy.

I lives, however the FJ is no more. After having it sit in my driveway for like 4 months, I decided to sell it. :pout:

I took the crawler out Sunday and sheared off the studs on the passenger side knuckle! :woot:

Ugh, that sounds miserable. I mostly don't need one at work since I'm in my office alone.

I keep stumbling across opinions people write implying that we should do this forever because it'd help with the flu, common cold, and anything else. They can have fun with that, when this threat has diminished enough I'm done and they can call me selfish all they want.

Yup, we rented from a woman that is an EMT in Rockwood, she said as much.

    I shouldn't have left.

Thanks, I wear a new mask everyday.
I'm still low man on the list. I don't drive much. I was referring to working the dock. I don't need to wear one when I drive but like you I do at the stops.

BTW, I went in at 5pm Sunday and worked till 5am Monday morning. I went back in at 3:30pm on Monday and worked till 12:45 this morning. I just woke up!
    :bored:
    Hey Alex!
Sorry to hear about the crawler but at least you're using it!

Definitely warm out there! I need to get the AC recharged in my F-250. It takes like 15 minutes on full cold, full blast to get it moderately decent in the cabin. EWWWWWW
