check the NY laws. Emperor Cuomo is pretty strict about travel to the bad states and quarantining and whatnot. Rhode Island is currently on the naughty list.

lost the post. But there are probably a few rentals on Johnston pond, that’s a bit more low key than the R.I. beaches. Fresh water but probably a few rentals that would be a good spot. I don’t know the cape enough to give much of a recommendation on it.

you’ve got more balls than me going for a modern diesel. What’s the mpg on that thing?:rofl::rofl:

I’m sure there was more choice words when it happened I’m just picturing someone breaking their finger like cracking knuckles like oh well it’s gone :D

Good candidate for buddying up though can use the middle finger to tape it to. But I am also by no means a medical professional or even a medical amateur. So. Do with that what you will :p

This wasn’t too bad at first but just lingering now. I tried to buddy to middle and didn’t work, I’m starting to think it might be a bone in the hand maybe because things pop and shift funny now when I turn it certain way. If its my hand might get an X-ray but I’ll wait a few days to see if I didn’t just strain a ligament or something

Most urgent care can do an X-ray and they’re reasonable in cost. Worth checking out at least.

I was just making jokes. That seems lower than I expected actually for the mpg. Honest question have you looked at hybrid options too? Mpg and electric power for towing :p

Any off road friendly beaches on the cape? It would be sick to rip some dunes. I’m probably dreaming though.

There’s a pass to get onto the beach which you apply for at the National Seashore website. No ripping allowed on the dunes with the speed limit at 15MPH. You have to stay in marked trails until parking. They enforce it too.

I did see a hybrid Yukon but it reduced towing capacity. Don't know of any other hybrids that are rated to tow 7k plus and are under $30k

Thanks. I don't deal directly with the kids too often in my position (technology director)--it's mostly my techs that do. So, I don't run into the exposure situation as much as others in the event that everyone is back in the buildings. But, I could not imagine being busier right now. I'm dealing with about a dozen projects at the same time in addition to what my summer usually looks like. My brain is basically mush. I took Monday off for a breather, but I've spent pretty much all day today on work-related stuff knowing that if I didn't then didn't look at anything on Monday, the rest of the week would be a nightmare.

@taco-houla it's also AWD so that might be why you thought it was higher

I'm actually surprised they reduced the towing on it. I can see reducing payload since I'm sure it's heavier than the straight gas version, but they can usually keep towing the same unless there's a another weakness in the system (which, with a full sized hybrid is very likely the case)

Hybrid these days is usually offered in higher trims.

Like @taco-houla said, its awd which is heavier and also found in higher trim. I bet there is 500 or more lbs of sound deadening and extra wiring they have to compete with, and then include the battery.

hmmm maybe. I just figured it would be a bit higher considering isn’t the canyon/Colorado diesel pulling like 30 highway? Maybe it’s because of the awd. Just thought it would be higher, but hey I haven’t done a lot of cross shopping before.

hybrid was a thought and then I started looking at them. Towing capacities are a lot lower than I expected. You’d have to rebuild suspension probably, I think the power is there and stopping is there but batteries are heavy.

Happy day off in RI today everyone :p
