Plus the added heat in your automatic transmission, because now you're towing with taller gearing from larger tires, and it takes longer for the torque converter to lock up, and your receiver height is way off, so you need some crazy ass drop hitch.

I so do not miss using one of those. I hated snowblowing.

    I mean, congratulations!

debatable considering how much smaller and lighter my trailer is compared to this guy. been reading up on his build. He used 80" tacoma rock sliders
    [IMG]

That just looks like a crap setup. my tacoma is lifted and when towing there was no lean. proper WDH setup is key

Unless you're like me though. I'm rated to tow something stupid like over 20k lbs and I'm at roughly 1/3 of it with my camper. I'm fairly confident I wouldn't even notice a difference if I went to 34's. I am already at something like 5" of drop to make it tow level now. I wouldn't want to go any bigger.

Jeez... That's way too much trailer for that thing, in my opinion. Power-wise, I'm sure it's fine but that's definitely a long tail on that little dog.

Shrug. I've seen HD trucks with a 4-6" lift and a WDH and they still have that ghetto squat.

it literally is. its 8500lbs empty and loaded its like 9-10k. SUV is rated for 8500lbs towing. And the trailer is also waaaay to long for it in my opinion as well. Feels great with my 27ft trailer though
    buffoons!

Kudos to Advance Auto Parts...My battery BARELY got the truck started today...So I ordered a DieHard Gold
I got the email it was ready for Pick up 15 min after ordering..
    Drove down there...
They installed it in like 15 min and put the little "don't lose your presets" memory saver into the OBDII...
    Good stuff...
Cost $153 plus tax with a special DieHard battery 10% off if you order online...saved $17...
My truck had the original 2010 battery with 185k on it...

Free install! And I don't have to bring it back for the Core refund...$22

The only time I did online ordering from them, it was spark plugs in LA and I had the same experience.

I change my batteries before they run low-I would rather spend the money than risk going long on a battery. To include my OEM battery I'm on my 4th since buying the truck at the end of 2007. My most recent one is a Napa 34R AGM battery that I put in about 6 months ago.

Nah... You’re going the wrong way. Heavy duty air bags, 19 1/2”, 22”, or 24” Alcoa rims with truck tires and those long lug nut covers...

Jeez, I thought you knew me better than that! I’m not wearing flat bill caps yet. Right now, I like the factory Lariat Sport black wheels and the 34” tires they came with. It rides, drives and tows nice with that setup. I might go back to 18” wheels and a 34” tire to get a little more sidewall but that’s about it.

Bro, you don’t need a lid to drive a bagged truck... :D
