I have a 3/4 ton diesel with a 4R100 which is known for puking its guts out on the pavement at the mention of the words 'work' or 'tow' or 'accelerate with slightly moderate throttle up a hill'

Until I get the trans rebuilt, it is a pavement princess! :angrygirl:

Plus what's the point of a cute tiny little plow truck if you don't use it for plowing?

I'm coming home for the holidays (Cape Cod). Anyone need a tune? I can run VfTuner to any to you'd like. I charge $250 and $25 for future tunes (though we'd have to plan it out as I'm usually in Denver). Holllller at me in a PM if so.

You've seen the bed, right? The rest of the truck probably has the structural integrity of a lace tea cozy.

I'd say it has at least the structural integrity of a construction paper snowflake... It's not THAT bad

Haha, I need to update my tune. Probably should get the transmission TSB first, but I'm being lazy. I'm still stuck on that 1.5 tune from way back in the day. I'm going to need to get those vF tuner credits so I can change my output voltage for the AGM battery I have yet to install...

You're right; at least lace doesn't lose all structural integrity whenever it gets wet

    FTFY.
Every single warehouse (15 of them) had something wrong with their transfer trucks today. And part of my job description is notifying customers of order delays, and since it's Friday and nothing moves on the weekends it means telling them that they've got to reschedule their Saturday appt's. :frusty:

Sounds like Ford.. My life for the last year has consisted of "hey, I know we have an appointment, but the parts are backordered indefinitely/didn't show/wrong part in the correct box/missing pieces". Covid Ford is killing me!

Woof. Anyone see this before? My pops 6 month old trd pro; only been on pavement.

My little brothers been driving around my dads truck and called me panicking about a front end noise. He then found this. What would cause the boot to do that?

Told him to take it to the dealer to get it fixed under warranty.

Looks like the boot got stuck to the bottom part of the shock and, when the shock compressed, it crushed the plastic boot and pushed it into the spring. If there's oil leaking from the shock, that could indicate that the shock actually broke.
