We've been getting sleet for the last couple of hours; I went out to scrape my truck down just now and it was like walking on 2 inches of tiny ball bearings.

Things are starting to freeze up here. It got warm today so I let things melt as best it could and had to do one last scrape down so I don't end up with a skating rink tomorrow morning. Roads in the morning might be a little tough if the towns don't get some salt or sand down overnight.

According to the Doppler Weather Window it's pounding a mix of snow & sleet right now.

Tough to say. It drifted around a lot last night, but the average was probably 8" of snow before it switched over to sleet. We'd have gotten probably double that if it hadn't changed over, but we got two inches of sleet instead.

Yepper. Especially since an inch of rain is generally two inches of sleet, or a foot of snow.

Anyone else with a turd gen with these wheels want 2?

I am looking to buy a set of take offs, and rotate through 6. 4 on the truck, one spare and one stored. Tire rotation would be with 6 instead. Allows a normal spare and two spares for ‘venturin. I just need someone else with the same stupid ideas as me.

Steelies FTMFW! As much as I hate the tires on them, I have the spare set of steel wheels I got for my 2nd gen on my truck full time.

I don’t care. I like alloy but really don’t give a rip. I just figure it’s better or cheaper to buy 2 than 6. Besides there’s tpms shenanigans.

If I remember correctly, I bought the set of 4 seel wheels with Michelin MS/2 tires at about 80% tead for ~$400 on CL, FB marketplace, or Offer up. Keep your eyes peeled. There's deals out there for sure. I honestly don't even remember what wheels came on my sport (also don't care), but if the price is rite I'd be in.

Yeh they pop up time to time. Even alloy take offs too same wheels as mine happen sometimes too. I just don’t want to have 8 wheels  so seeing if anyone around here has any interest in....two.

    Morning, snow folk.

They must have lifted the truck ban on the roads up there?
