Best I can do is a pic of my fat body with the bike... 78,000 miles before I sold it (eventually with a tapped and helicoiled oil drain plug)

If anybody knows of any sales coming up for some 20" wheels let me know. Still hunting for the infiniti. Biggest issue I've run into is offset. Not looking for 2inches of poke lol. Preference is for bronze, black, or grey wheels.

Damn. I wish I wasn't a pansy - bikes last forever and get wicked mileage. I just hate the thought of riding one at least around here. I drive 15 minutes each way just in East Providence and I feel like I made it out by the skin of my teeth every day just in my truck let alone on a bike :( Maybe once we move to Texas if the roads feel better I might consider it.

I don't ride much anymore after getting in a head on collision with a Dodge Omni, so no need to feel like a pansy. And I have ridden for over a 1/4 million miles.

Caved in today and bought better shocks for the truck. Ended up going with Bilstein 4600s. The Motorcraft ones are terrible and were replaced on the last 2 trucks pretty shortly after purchase. This one did a little better since it’s heavier (and the Ranchos I bought previously jumped up a lot in price). Should be here in a few days!

I saw chevy is putting Ranchos on their off road trucks LOL.

They are fine for what they are don't get me wrong, he but when Fox and Bilstien are the other companies options...I just thought it was funny.

Chevy/GMC is the most retarded car company on the planet and I think its intentional. People that buy them make me wonder. "made in china" is GMC new worry, they abandoned the American market years ago.

Sooo.... I got situated in my truck, took my phone out of the cargo pocket to put on the doghouse . Noticed I had a few missed called from an unfamiliar number. To my surprise it was the Tyngsboro Ma PD saying the got a 911 call from and they tracked my location! I’m like WTF! Got out and there were cruisers looking for me . Had to reassure them I was ok and that I must have pocket dialed them ...:anonymous:

Fucking Ford experience is going downhill fast guys... First, this thing gets atrocious fuel mileage. Average 13.5 highway and towing I got 8.4. Not pleased I'll tell you. Now I am having intermittent check engine lights. Exhaust emission sensor is what the app is saying. Service on Monday. I fucking hate vehicles!

Something's definitely not right. Your highway average is about where I'm at, and that towing mileage is what I get when I'm hauling 15k of gravel.

Yep, not right indeed. The GMC got me 20-21 highway all the time and would get 12-14 towing my sled trailer no problem. I would have got an HD if I was going to mileage like this.

I replaced my rear ones on my '18 with Bilstein 5100s and it was so much better. The factory ones were bad at 40k too, I could compress them with almost no effort then they wouldn't rebound on their own. I should do the same for this truck. The roads around here are awful now that things are thawing and I'm starting to notice how much better my '18 was with those Bilsteins.

Definitely something wrong there. I'd expect to see at least 20 highway with the 5.0, I can get 22-23 highway with my 3.5 and the 2.7 would do 23-24. Maybe a small hit for winter gas, but certainly not 13.5.

I usually don't tow long distances, but I would see 14 MPG on hilly secondary roads with 6500 lbs behind my 2.7--that was a tractor or vehicle on a car hauler, so not much wind resistance. Haven't had more than 3000 behind the 3.5 yet and never reset the meter to see what that was.

Ford was using Ranchos on their FX4 package for a while also. It's important to realize, there are several different levels of Rancho... There's the Chevy/GMC/Ford OEM Rancho, which is nothing more than a crappy/moderate shock with a Rancho sticker on it that was made specifically for those manufacturers to include on their 'off road' packaged vehicles, then there's the actual Rancho line up. I was running the 9000XL which was an 'adjustable' shock. I put that in quotes because it had a little adjuster knob but it's no where near what a true adjustable shock from someone like Fox, Icon or King. But, they were a beefy 3" diameter shock and did well controlling the Super Duty's stiff springs when unloaded and did fine towing the camper also. They just got too expensive this time around and I've always heard good things from the Bilstein 4600. I looked at the 5100s but Bilstein, in my opinion, really dropped the ball with their part numbers. They claim to not have a 'standard ride height' 5100 shock, but if you look at the one they claim is for 2-2.5" of lift, it's the same compressed and extended length as everyone else's standard height shock. I got sick of cross referencing and just decided to save some $$ and go with the 4600s.
Something is very wrong. I'd guess your intermittent CEL is doing something and causing your piss poor fuel economy. I was getting better fuel economy with my '13 and still had the 6 speed and the steel body (and I was tuned and loved to have fun with it). I bet once you get the CELs worked out, you'll see your fuel economy jump substantially.

It’s the crappy oem and cheapest ones I’m talking about. I understand there’s a reason and need for all the product range and that’s fine. I just don’t find it a brand to “brag” about if your trying to “flex” on people with your new truck.
