A lot of the Craftsman openers were made by Chamberlain / Liftmaster anyways. I rebuilt both my Craftsman chain openers forever ago after the door sensors went wonky and rather than fix them I kept forcing the doors to close. Eventually after they started sounding like death I went to belt drive which as you say are remarkably quiet. I don't know if I've got the tension right on the belt, but I'm probably due for new door springs.

yeah we had a lot of dirt/mud road travel where the lighter buss was better. My buss ride was like an hour, and the school was 7-8 minutes from my house.

Tell me about it - we had the specialized routes, my morning bus ride in grade...7 and 8? Might have just been 8 can't really remember, was about 30-40 minutes, afternoon was 90 minutes due to the routing.

There was a bus break down one time, and the big busses the kids went from a 15 minute to a 25 minute ride one day and there was an outrage. I was sitting there like freaking REALLY people? Screw off. Yeah that bus ride sucked. Went to all 4 corners of the town before we ended up at home.

I had a 2012 US Built Kia sorrento for 8 years 160K, only thing i EVER did to it was oil and brakes twice(the way I drive hard) not super fancy, yet that car ranks right up there with any of my yotas ( have 3 now and 3 in the past) maybe I got lucky, yet thing was one of the best cars $ for $ I ever owned....

The school (and bus station nearby) was only 8 minutes away, so they came up the hill and my house was always the first or second stop. Then we'd go out to one town line, then to another town line, then to school. It made it a 40 minute ride. I lived on a paved road, but any kids on the dirt roads were picked up by a smaller (18 passenger I think) 4wd bus that went all around town and met us about 3/4 of the way through the route and the kids transferred on. Some of them had even longer total trip times than I did.

Fair enough... the Stinger is what made me start paying attention though....

Yep, my Frontier was made in Canton, MS, so was my first one.

We had a Santa Fe for a while(Hyundai, but, same thing)....
We HATED that car... BUT, never a single real issue. Gave it to my mom 6 years ago....

Still putting mileage on it, and other than oil changes, I can assure you it is pretty neglected.

Changing my oil today and there's just too much transmission fluid on things...The repairs I had done are probably leaking somewhere...It's all over the crossmember. Of course there's no dip stick and I'm not going to pop that nut off right now...

I got 38 with what I can see, not even counting what I can reasonably assume is duplicated on the other side. Mother of God

I love this. People that just go ALL OUT and DGAF what the general public think really do it for me. Fuck, I bet he's got an FBI badge too (federal body inspector) just incase someone questions what he's doing.

So many lights, so many antennas. I think he's afraid of the dark and needs to call for help. Nice running boards on that mall crawler. I wonder what happens when all the lights turn on...poof supernova. People like that overboard make me feel normal

Hmm, a weather chaser in NY? I wonder if he thought adding antennas would help getting in the action by attracting lightning... and why is the tank periscope on backwards that’s mounted on the hood... what kind of battery pack could there possibly be to run a radio for each antenna... how would anyone be able to listen to them all at the same time... Many, many questions.

We need a pic of the inside of that truck to see what each antenna connects to to see if it's a real antenna or a dummy.
I have a friend with a Mercury Marauder, he went on eBay and found antennas for the trunk/roof to make it look like a state police car.

i can't be mad. i've watched the build progress over the last three years with more and more stuff. I have noticed it has lost suspension height over the years..
i step back and think, what is difference between this and an other-the-top overlander build? Instagram likes?

Because the other one is just lights. Like JUST lights, no other worthwhile attributes. At least an over the top over land build should be capable, even if the owner never actually uses it or knows how to use it all. The Durango is just an ass load of lights.
