I agree! Frankly, the people modding their vehicles aren't the problem, they're more apt to be the ones who know every inch of their vehicle and are replacing most of the wear items as they go vs. some guy who has a work truck on all worn out stock suspension with 200k miles on the ticker.

With the price of wood lately, It would have been cheaper to have one custom built from one of our vendors lol

How about this gem? This was actually posted over on the Ferd forum but seems relevant.

Massachusetts plate and that particular bumper sticker? I'm not even surprised. It's a biodegradable hitch system

@jethro, you're not planning a trip to Richardson at any point in the near future, are you? I saw on the bookface today that there's only a few inches between the boat launch and the island.

No plate on the front but could have been MA also. I'm sure it was all free scrap out of a job dumpster

Good thinkin - forgot about that, I'll have to see if that's something I can do. I also don't really care about my lawn so that doesn't help

o_O is there a dam there? I don't know the pond, this year it feels like spring is coming in strong so it feels like everything should be up and running and full and there's been little rain and it's still actually really early in the season.

There is, and I think that they're doing some work on it, but that's still very low. But, the lake that our camp is on is dam-regulated as well, and even though they closed the dam off almost a month ago the lake is still down about 3 feet right now. No snowpack to melt this year, and not much for rain yet.

I usually don't plan my first trip there until closer to Memorial Day, but this year might have to go to Moosehead instead. There are two dams on Richardson and both are actually being worked on but they also were this time last year and the water wasn't anywhere NEAR that low. That is crazy low. Talk to Black Brook Campground- they say you can't even launch a canoe on their property because it's so low.

Yeah, we called to schedule a camping trip on the island and they told us the same thing. So we decided to wait a bit and see what the water does.

The rain this past weekend brought standing water closer to my dock, but it's still about 30 yards away. I welcome more rain. Preferably before the weekend though.
