I didn’t have any bolts that looked that bad on an 8 year old New England Mazda. And I had a strut mount go in 2018 ish and had to deal with that, and end links. Everything was still pretty clean. That is less than 5 months old up there ....

Well I joined actively about a year and a half ago to find a Tacoma to replace my 4Runner. After tonight, I think I’ll be looking for something else to replace my Tacoma

Yeah, I felt fine at the time but am definitely feeling to whiplash effects. I was essentially stopped, waiting on oncoming traffic before turning left. I guess the driver behind me wasn’t paying attention because he rear ended at highway speed probably going 50-60 mph

Should be interesting. Per the dealer today "in certain areas". If they see issue with that, my first words will be "the CRC was applied by you 2 years ago (within the time allotted per Toyota) to this particular area so please explain how that is not the case..obviously you felt that area was at risk or you wouldn't have coated it"

    That’s horrible.

I hope the whiplash clears up soon and that you and no one else has any lasting injuries.

That’s a sad ending for your truck. Good luck with finding a replacement.

    Sorry that happened to you.

@mach1man001 been looking to dip into crypto world. I like tokens not coins as they are the backbone of a lot of these things.

Tokens aren't allowed to be sold to US investors unless you are an accredited investor! I've run into this multiple times.

so 200k+ for last 3 years, or over 1 million in unencumbered assets (your home doesn't count).

The rich get rich, the poor get poorer. How the story will never change!!!

I use block fi. I ended up riding up BTC from about 30k to 55k with a few hundred bucks. Pulled my principal now I’m playing with 200$ in there all house money. So if it goes kerplunk I’m out net zero. also paging @emelianenkov for mining.

the best time to invest was yesterday - that’s the old saying. Time in the market beats timing the market, don’t try to be smarter than a whole financial industry. I just pile everything into VTI (ticker symbol) and don’t overthink or overcomplicate it.

I bought about $1k worth of various stocks that tanked in late March early April of last year and ended up selling for roughly $3k a few months later. That was basically an attempt at timing the market and although I made money, I didn't really succeed. There were a couple that skyrocketed after I sold and I would have done very well by holding onto them for a couple more months.

At this point my only investment is a Roth IRA and that's all in VTSAX.

I have friends who got in on some, made 50k ish, none of them went millionaires. 8 years ago I almost spent 10k on mining equipment but couldn’t figure out how it all worked and didn’t. I’d be rich af right now lol.

Easy money scares me, always a catch! These tokens I want are limited and offer yields every month on all transactions. You can get yields holding other products, but the biggest and best, with never changing ratios comes with token holding. I’ve done some run arounds and fingers crossed will own three later today.

they say on low end in 5 years each token should give 4K a year in yield. Middle ground 30k, high end of everything goes perfect...100k. How can I not try?!?

maybe trade doesn’t work out and I miss out. But I can only do what I can to try to get in on it.

I am with you , I am not cut for a day trader. I want to just make small gains regularly so when I’m 70 I’m sitting in a good place.

worth mentioning - yeah I’m riding XOM up from their bottom in April too. Otherwise I’m in vti but that’s so I can leave it in td ameritrade and do it via tickers instead of funds. Vti is the stock market equivalent to VTSAX as a fund. Same thing just different vehicles. But now I don’t try to be the market man I just dump it all in vti - sort of a lie, if I don’t have enough for one share I’ll dump it in SPLG and then once I have enough in SPLG I’ll sell that off and put it in vti. They’re very similar funds - it’s just a 0.03% ER sp500 fund but it’s less per share so I can park it in there shorter term.
