I’m getting checked out this afternoon and I guess the other driver turns out to be injured as of this morning. As of about noon my insurance company’s attitude has changed dramatically. I’m getting questions like, “what were you doing on that road” and “I guess I don’t understand why you needed to turn.” they are asking for me to return to the scene and take additional pictures and re-enact where I was at.

“I guess I don’t understand why you needed to turn” shenanigans. Have fun with that. Chances are the other party said you stopped short or didn’t use a signal or whatever. If they can put ANY fault on you (your own insurance) then they get to collect the deductible from you and raise your rates - so be weary. They’re trying to pin blame on you, even 90/10 means they’re in a better spot so they’ll try to do it.

hope y’all are all good. Looks like and sounds like a hard hit.

Managers Tahoe got a flat and the spare drop down is rusted and won’t release all the way to get it.

lent her the taco so she can grab her kids and go get the tire plugged. I’m so paranoid after seeing @jmferg s recent post.

Take it to CarMax and see what they'll do. My dad just retired and sold his work truck to them. It was a 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 with well over 100k miles on it (I think like 150k). It was a nice truck but cloth seats, fairly basic, and they gave him just over $20k for it!
Did the other driver get cited? If not, I'd be very, very careful what you say to them and, frankly, what you type on here about it.

@Bridge4 I agree with @Pugga .....Take it to Carmax. They will at least give you a 7 day quote of what they will do to take it off of your hands free and clear. I did that right before I bought my Taco and sold them my Dodge dakota......I ended up taking them for a ride and getting way more then it was worth.

We have a semi-solid offer from someone on here, I wanna give them a good shot. BUT I can drive to carmax and get that week quote just in case right?

I'll have to steal it for an afternoon in the next day or two

you can just do it online too. you could also submit an instant cash offer on kbb, and it'll funnel to a local dealer who might be willing to step up from the offer if they want to keep it for themselves. i'm a little biased but i think this is the best route ;)

Well... I installed the 18v battery kit in my kids' power wheel a couple weeks ago and left it at my parents' house. The boys went out there for school vacation this week and apparently drove the ever living shit out of the power wheel and ended up smoking one of the motors... So, I did the only logical thing I could think of, ordered the Stage III motor and gear kit from ML Toys. I guess I should just give up caring about my new lawn now...

i still haven’t turned the speed controller on my boys jeep past 3/4 yet.

The 3 year old rips it the way it is and is a better driver than his older brother but has a problem not paying attention to where he’s going.

Did you have an issue with it? I can't imagine any tech would even know what that is, let alone fail you for it.

For those of youbwoth aftermarket wheels and run them all year. How does the finish hold up to winter? Contemplating selling my oem set since the tread is getting low, running my pro comps all year, and when the falkens wear out going 33s though I'd be better off with a different offset
