I'll take another week of rain if it just fills up my damn lake. Christ it's taking for ages for the water to come up.

I am old. Got really excited buying a new pole saw/pruner this weekend and happily went to town pruning/ trimming limbs. Then I got real crazy and picked up a leaf mulcher to start to clean up the woods around my house. Getting real crazy up in here.

Even though we only have ~.5 acres it's all wooded except for a small front yard. And it's all deadfall and leaves. The goal is to just little by little clean it up, probably rent a woodchipper one day and go to town mulching all the deadfall that's not suitable for the firepit. Even just the small area we cleaned this weekend looks 100x better.

I started with a similar sized area in our back yard fenced area, it looked so good I kept going.

thin the little trees out and plant some seed or let the ferns and stuff just come… makes it much prettier and relaxing

    :yay:

Dropped some more clover seeds on a few sections of the front yard yesterday after cleaning up a bit. Me gusta! The sections I dropped toward the end of last year are starting to look great. Once I get some time and actually clean it up hopefully going into July/August this year it'll be great and won't need to be watered. Probably going to get another bag of clover seed and some grass seed and start doing a mix and overseeding, then dropping some red clover in september-ish timeframe. My backyard is jacked up, but the dog digs a lot of holes so :notsure: I don't give a rip back there. I mow it, that's good enough for me.

Okay, maybe I’m just being a bit much. But does anyone else see a big disconnect between the photo and headline (burn your sweatpants) and the pc baloney on the right?

never bought any of their stuff and this ain’t gonna get me to

You guys see the video going around with the robbers in SA trying to take a money truck (land cruiser bullet proofed)? Older guy is BA, younger guy holds it together IMO pretty well, obviously his first time in this type of thing. I'd honestly probably have at least yelled a few "HOLY SHIT"'S..

That driver can drive me any day tho:thumbsup: Then he takes the EVIL machine gun :)eek:) and goes to face the guys when the cars stopped and they turn and leave!:transformer::infantry:

Yeah, saw that this morning. That guy is a bad ass. I don't think I would have got out at the end either. Gun or no gun, I'd need a change of shorts. I've been around guns all my life but never shot at. That's next level fear.
