That's pretty much what I look like trying to make a u turn on a 4 lane road. Unless it has a center strip, I'm not going to make it without some liberal use of the skinny pedal.

I'll throw this out there. Will it be a nice as a 4runner or Tacoma? Nope and that is easy to admit.
I looked at 9 2012-2015 tacomas and there wasn't a single one didn't have structural rust, paint or body damage or mechanical issues. I was shopping 100,000 mile, $25,000 trucks. One had oil pressure issues and knocked at idle once warmed up, one had a slipping trans on the 2-3 shift, and one had a (really) bad wheel bearing.
Just hoping for a reliable vehicle at this point.

My Ford is a fleet vehicle and it seems fine. It's in real good shape cosmetically too. But yes, I insisted on it being Certified and after my GMC experience I worked in 140k mile full warranty.

You're not kidding about that turning radius! I had someone in the driving school at the same time with me and they were complaining about it. We both wanted to see how bad it was so we parked in the same parking spot and turned as quick as we could (she had a dclb as well) and hers went 2 more parking spots over than my Tacoma. I couldn't believe it.

I will say, I have always been a fan of the rugged looks of the X-Terra.

Since apparently 50 bottles of beer wasn’t enough, I made a batch of Limoncello. Just proofed it down. I’ll pop it in the freezer and give it a shot a little later. The little bit I did try tasted correct though.

It's made with Everclear so it'd certainly do the trick! I don't know what it's proofed down to exactly, but should be somewhere in the 80 proof range at this point if I did my measuring and gorilla math correctly and also based on the level of burn when I did a shot of it (for QC purposes of course).

Ever make your own? I was surprised how simple it was to make. My wife bought a bottle of Everclear at the beginning of the COVID crap because, apparently you can make hand sanitizer out of it in a pinch. Now that we're nearing the end, I started eye balling it for other uses. Came across the Limoncello recipe online. It's just lemon peels soaked in Everclear for a few days, strain and proof down with simple syrup.

A bunch of campers appeared across the river and they annoy me. They run generators constantly and I hate looking out my window and seeing them. Zoning says you can have one guest in a camper on your land for a period not to exceed four weeks per year, so the town is going after them for zoning violations and on a couple noise complaints that neighbors called in for the generators. We're starting to see trash in the river too, which has never happened before.

The other morning I went down there and there was a bit of a septic smell. I bought a cheap game camera and set it up last night. I have a feeling they may be dumping gray water or sewage into the river at night and by morning it's mostly gone. It seems like quite a conclusion to jump to, but people who are too cheap to go to an actual camp ground and who litter may be the type to think that's a fine solution.

Is it public land they are on, or someone's property who's letting them squat there? Either way that would be pretty fucking gross.

    Someone else's property.

I basically pointed the camera up the river and partly at my side. I kind of wanted one anyway because I get foxes, deer, woodchucks, large birds, etc. down there and it'll be neat to have something that captures photos of them. This gave me an excuse! I also have pretty expensive chairs down there and if someone stole them (probably unlikely), it'd show that.

Not this year - We're up to about two weeks now (but the quantity of campers is a violation). Last year they were there basically all summer, but the neighbors and I didn't push too hard because all campgrounds were closed, they didn't run generators, there was no trash in the river, etc.

Occasionally I could probably grab their attention because they're close enough where I can see them walking around and not just the campers. It's all I can do to not say "Are you people homeless or something? I can't think of any other reason to squat on someone's land near a bunch of houses." But, I have been careful to make it seem like I don't care if they're there. Hopefully the town takes care of it and they're caught off guard because they're unaware that anyone's trying to get them out of there.
