Hey @BadDNA @Sloth @mach1man001 cant remember Adrian's username/last name - what was that store we stopped at for breakfast that last morning we were in Vermont last year? The one with the killer breakfast sandwiches? Heading up this weekend and if it's close I want to go back.

I know a bunch of general stores that have real good breakfast sandwiches and what not up through the area. If ya'll head towards Addison area there is a general store at Addison four corners that has some good bbq as well and breakfast sandwiches (down the road from me too).

30 Minutes south... I don't know if they do breakfast, but their lunch/dinner stuff is downright amazing- Vermont Country Deli in Brattleboro. You will not be sorry! It's right off the highway.

right off the highway I know jakes makes great sandwiches too. Not that there’s a lot of bad places around there, I just remember the breakfast sandwiches were world class.

Honestly 28x32 isn't that bad. I've got room for her Mustang, my truck, a 16x13 workshop, some storage, and we can still open the doors on both sides of the vehicles. But a 13x16 workshop sounds like plenty until your benches & your floor tools are in place, and then it's cramped. And we store a lot of motorized stuff in those garage/tent things that I'd really rather have under a solid roof. So if money was no problem and I was building from scratch I'd really rather have like a 30x60 with a second story; room for all of the vehicles, boat, ATV, tractor, etc on the ground floor, then a workshop in half of the upstairs and the rest of it left open so I could put a lift in.
I couldn't care less about a big house; give me 1200 square feet or so and I'm happy. But a big garage is the dream, lol.

Absolutely. Any building material right now is just nuts. I think Lowe's is just under $100 a sheet for 23/32 T&G Advantech and like $85 for the standard stuff. For the square footage I was looking at it'd cost me almost $5k just for the sheathing.

@uurx much appreciated. I actually found one a few weeks ago. Now I just have to wait till Toyota reframes it, that could be a few months haha

I refinanced a month ago and am finally getting things going on my house. I can see the prices jumping in a few areas where materials shouldn't cost more than labor, but they do. But, it's within the budget and the end result will be worth it, so that's life I suppose.

I’ll put this in the marketplace also but will only put the backstory here. Selling off two (2) Curt Echo brake controllers, $150/ea, one used for a day, the other is brand new, still in the box. Here’s what they are:
    https://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Br...oh4LBM-NHuFaoE1rham9GLk3ol-TkHzEaAmVqEALw_wcB

So, how did I come to own 2 of the, you might ask? In early May, my parents started their cross country retirement camping trip. They have a Chevy 2500 diesel and dragging a 12k lb 5th wheel toy hauler so not a light set up. In Kentucky, they stopped to visit my cousin and noticed the truck kept flashing an intermittent alert on the dash ‘trailer disconnected’ and the brakes on the trailer wouldn’t work. My dad and my cousin tore in the trailer and truck side of the plugs, cleaned everything up, replaced the trailer side connection since it looked a little worn. Left there and got the alert a ways down the road again. They got it to GM, they didn’t have time to deep-dive trouble shoot but hooked up their computers and told them it’s not the trailer, there’s something wrong with the truck. They were ready to cut bait and come home because they didn’t want to head towards the Rockies not knowing if the brakes were going to function so I did some searching on ways to bypass Chevy’s integrated trailer brake controller and came up with the Curt Echo system. They picked one up at a local Uhaul and used it from Kentucky all the way to New Mexico. In New Mexico, the Curt app was telling them there was a system fault after driving all day now also. My dad bought a second unit and called Curt, who warrantied the first one (the warranty replacement is the one I have BNIB). As it turns out, there was actually a dead short in the trailer’s wiring. The next day, the new brake controller started giving some codes so my dad and an RV road tech tore into the trailer wiring and replaced the wires from the plug to the brakes. Now, wouldn’t you know, the trucks integrated brake controller is working just fine. The GM dealer’s diagnosis just stopped him from digging into the trailer when the trailer was the real issue!

So, now we have 2 to sell, we’re going to keep one since it is a pretty neat if you need it in a pinch. The unit plugs into a 7 pin connector and the trailer plugs into it. Braking action is done by an app and there’s a button on the app which allows you to manually activate the brakes if you need to. If you lose connectivity, the device remembers the last setting and goes back to that so you don’t lose brakes if your phone dies. Neat device, easy set up
