I mean I'd expect nothing less for an overlund trailer. In reality though I'm jealous. I've been eying getting an M101A1 more as a utility trailer, but also so I could take it camping if needed. Mainly because most trailers are just built so shitty. I hate borrowing a friends trailer or renting a uhaul one and u loaded/ unloaded they are pogo-sticking all around on the highway. They've almost all got shitty hardware with fender flares and such falling off, generally thin materials being used. Just general overall garbage construction IMO.

3 days until my leave begins. I'll be job hunting during itbso if anybody knows of anything within 30-40 mins of Taunton for mechanical engineering please give me a heads up. I did a quick search and looks like there is a lot out there.

 

Crazy times for job searches. Friday is actually my last day at my current job, end of a 14 year career. A little scary and exciting at the same time. I start with a new company on Monday. Basically doing the same thing just different patch on my shirt.

For those of you who clear coated your suspensions (coilovers/shocks) what did you use for clear coats? Finally got the kings back from rebuild and slowly sanding and polishing the finish back to a shine. Figured a nice clear coat would protect them for at least a winter... Maybe... Also going to steelit the line connections...

 

Unfortunately we are tapped out for the year. Unless you have a background in material science, we’re looking for a senior materials engineer. But our manufacturing and quality teams are tapped out for the year.

Wow, the three of us are in the same boat. I'm off somewhere new the end of the month. Doubt I'll be posting here quite as much while I build up some backlog.

 

Congrats! I haven't posted or said much about it. Just working out my last few days. I'm leaving a good company and, hopefully, on good terms. I'll likely be in the same boat come Monday, very busy with the new job and not posting here as much.

Looking for a set of OEM 2012+ headlights if anyone has any takeoffs? Hazy is OK as I would be up for restoring if necessary. My son wants to upgrade his 2008 and is getting a free hood, trying to keep the cost down...
