I have to see if they’re interchangeable. If so I can probably just hunt one down on rock or something. I’ve seen apparently the entire top part of the fin is empty so you can cut it and epoxy the hole. TBD. I want to finish setting up and wiring my ditch lights then I’ll worry about the roof rack setup. Also a ton of normal maintenance too but that’s not fun

Toyota's cars always seem to be way ahead in technology compared to it's trucks and larger SUVs. Even silly things such as antennas or interior lightning etc. I feel like the gap has only closed a bit because of TSS.

Driving with the windows down this morning, I got assaulted by dog hair from the cab. New dog sheds terribly in the truck. I just spent the better part of 3 hours taking everything out of the cab, vacuuming the upholstery, srubbing tne floor mats and wiping down the hard surfaces. Thing is spotless for about 2 weeks when we go camping again...

The thing that gets me is that this is such a Kia or Ford move. Toyota jacked up something so obvious gets me.

I had a husky growing up. all winter the hair hides and deposits itself everywhere. It hides under the seats and in the seat cracks and in the headliner. The first nice day of the season - you roll the windows down. The wind finds all that hair. Without fail, and you’ll forget by next year that the husky hairnado exists and you’ll do it again.

I was wondering if there was a way to swap in the camry one but id be way too worried about botching it and creating a leak myself. I'm also coming up on 90k and have all sorts of maintenence to deal with. I've resigned myself to riding the spark plugs into the ground but its almost diff fluid time and I've yet to get my stripped front diff drain plug out...
Just washed and vacuumed mine today after I got it inspected, ive had my parents gsp in the back a couple times and found a whole bunch of her hair, short hair is the worst

I bought a VAVA F&R 3 months ago and I have no complaints.
It is Bluetooth compatible. I Have an old I6 that I use for a screen when I want, but I can also load them to my phone if I need to put them on the web.
You really should watch some YouTube videos of Road Rages etc. That will give you an idea of cams.

Nah, it`ll stay spotless until the dog gets in again. He`s not one to just `go for a ride`.
Absolutely! We had a lab before, he shed like crazy also, I don`t mind the clean up and love having dogs. This dog is a light haired dog so it shows up a lot better on the dark interior!

there might be. TBD. It sounds like Toyota really cornered the early 2020s to be a pain when it comes to roof racks. We’ll see.

Looking for tune!!! Sliders, grabber X3, bilstein lift on its way

I just put in a GARMIN dash cam mini with polarized filter lenses. Powered by a dongar technology 12 pin connector that plugs into the back of the mirror to pull power from that instead of running the wires through out the truck. That alone was a huge bonus for the setup and makes setup time in about 60sec. All is plug and play setup. All is stored on an sd card, also a phone app as well. Great to have for a peace of mind if nothing else. And maybe for some off road videos as well. Wasn’t to bad in price at all if I remember correctly.

I may need to look into that method for my wife’s Jeep. I have Aukey DR-01 for all three vehicles with OBDII power setups, which gives me a proximity setup. The Jeep one seems to cycle power while I’m driving so I don’t know how good or bad it is in terms of grabbing footage.

@TheTacoAdventurer I just put mine on today with the curved crossbeam. There is literally no downside to these. We got mine done in a little over 4+hours. The rear of my truck is VERY stiff and planted now. I absolutely love it. What leaf springs are you running?
