You could try re-bedlining then using something like skate board grip tape as the stepping surface.

I can't take credit for it, someone else in this thread first offered up the idea for sliders a while ago. It's a good one though, figured I'd pass it on.

I have the grip tape where I step on the sliders, it definitely helps, especially i the winter. It has also worn through though. I also like to put in on the leading faces of the support cross tubes and leading face of the sliders to help mitigate the sandblasting over the winter from salt/ sand.

Just a warning, I had grip tape on my Tacoma’s sliders. Just remember your ladies... I ended up ripping skin off when sliding out of my truck back when I used to wear skirts for work. You don’t quite realize how you brush against sliders until the tape catches bare skin. It also caught some of my girlfriends off guard. :sorry:

My bikes that have it are on standing platforms for doing tricks, I'll see if I have a picture or two. Though it's rare that those spots are in close proximity to my legs other than using them.

I had briefly thought about it for the bars on mine when my father in law was still alive but rejected it for this reason, since by then his balance was really degrading. If I had to use it for that application it's best only applied on top versus wrapping for the reason @Daria mentioned, plus even pants can be torn this way.

I think bedliner is fine. Now if you used the chunky monsterliner or something, it might scrape/hurt a little. I rattle canned bedliner for my 4Runner’s sliders, ‘twas fine. Now I drive a dog wagon so no more sliders in my life. Except buggy.

Jesus that was a lot of math haha I was only averaging 16.5mpg of pure highway driving. Fun part about driving a brick with wheels.

So, I brought my Taco to the dealer who told me it would take two days.
When I got there he says it will only take an hour to Plug the frame and seal the High brake lamp.
I was out in one hour. Congrats to Mcgee Toyota of Dudley.

I'm happy that I got my frame done by Jason before that .@jpereira2.
He has and uses the tools to coat the inside of the box.

Good to know. They're not super close but a good shop is worth the drive. Mine is a disaster so I go toward Attleboro. Dudley isn't close but its not terrible either.

I don't think thered be any weight capacity left once the body was mounted on one of those frames. To be honest...

Unfortunately looks like a fresh start to me.

SLAP is another portion of that procedure where the tissue that encapsulates the joint is repaired.. as well as the joint itself.

Hope you're doin alright, looks like a doozy to heal from.
