I actually liked the tC. Looked at one before I bought the Colorado...part of me wishes I had seeing what a smoldering pile of dung the Chevy was.

Haha I remember before Myspace, I'm ancient.

I put 255/80/17 Wildpeaks on about 2K ago, I love them. I had a 2nd hand set of 17" Forerunner rims and tires on it for almost a year and the original tires were pretty worn. No real road noise, but I'm mostly local roads, not alot of highway. Had only slightest rubbing on the front OE mud flaps. A few weeks later, I put a leveling kit from Low Range Offroad on it, no more tire rub anywhere. I'm thinking I may be hearing/ feeling the needle bearing now, so that be on the list now. Glad I just had Jason just do the woolwax again! Bill in Plymouth

Drop it into 4H when you think you feel it. If it disappears it’s the needle bearing.

I have contemplated the 255 at some point myself. I’d have to do both my regular at snows at roughly the same time unless I want to go back to two spares again. I’m afraid of rubbing on my TRD bead locks for some reason although I’m reasonably confident my snow tire wheels wouldn’t rub.

IIRC it's a standard one to do at home once they get you started, but don't do it unless they say so. Just a pulley and a rope fed through, you basically use the good shoulder's hand to carefully move the bad side

Which is wise. She had the basic cleanout only so that could be a different course than what you had.

Thanks for this info - I know I had read it, probably several times and forgot about it. It's very slight and was only noticed after the kit was installed. Took it out his morning, in and out of 4H several times - I'm about 99% sure its the needle bearing. I don't think my mind is playing tricks on me, but it's barely noticeable in 2WD - non existent in 4WD. Have maybe 1500 easy miles, since the install, but I'd like to get this done. Appreciate the info - Tacobell, I'm sending you a PM - Thanks again, Bill

It could just be tires, or cv axles due to change in operating angle after the lift

Nice, does it have the elocker? I really like mine. My FJC was superior for offroading here in the Northeast, but the LC is so much more comfortable, and far more practical for general use.

Dropped my truck off this morning for a frame inspection/spray/plug kit, and got a nice 2021 Tacoma SR5 as a loaner. Loads of tech in this thing...tons of stuff I'd like in mine (dual zone climate control, power rear slider), and a bunch of nanny shit I'd never want (lane departure, collision avoidance). Nice rental, but I'll stick with my '15 for now.

Lane departure turned off within the first 30 minutes of driving and I ignore its existence. Collision avoidance has only ever caught some shadows of bridges as a false positive. I DO like the adaptive cruise but would be fine without.

2021s started doing the dual automatic climate BS on all trims. I got a 2020. That was one thing I did kind of like in my old mazda - set auto 70° and never touched a damn thing - all year forever.

Hey side question, on the half baked tour last year, we went past Ramunto's in bridgewater. Can't remember if the reviews was good or bad.
