Thanks good idea. I just hate selling wheels and tires on craigslist, ive done it before and some people are a pain in the ass to deal with

Lol. Sorry we adapt so easily.

 

I put my TW sticker on today, picked up my bedliner and 1/4" fuel line. I got extra line so I could try and put it on the oil filter catch drain and route it down below

 

Taking out my satoshi to plastidip it tonight

How I hope it turns out

 

That's the only final step I need to do. Both of my sliders are finally prepped and primed. Those filler plates were a PITA to prep. Took forever even using a wire wheel on a drill and one of those cup wire wheels on the angle grinder. I used that Automotive primer that Rob suggested. It seemed to stick really well to the bare metal and dries quickly. Only took 3 cans total.

 

Still have yet to let that stuff touch my truck...

Lol i haven't tried the derp either. It looks like an awesome product to black out emblems. I removed my emblems and painted them gloss black.

 

My sliders are all primed also, 3 light coats of self etching primer. I decided not to go with bedliner, i will be rattlecanning them hopefully tomorrow. I cant decide between flat and gloss black. I was planning on going flat, but my wheels, badges, and inner lip of my satoshi are all gloss black.

 

Yup I picked up some of that primer also will give a scuff then prime in AM then Tues I should be able to liner them. I almost bought the Armor kind to lay down the first coat the the reg liner over that but figured I was putting to much thought into it

 

I think it is good to give you an idea of what it will look like but I like painting better

 

It's pretty durable tho!

And I used it on my lower valance with 2 layers of bedliner over that. No rock chips or anything.

When you use the derp as a base coat too, you can always chip the paint off on top of it and revert to silver or chrome or whatever

 

I used it on my emblems back in June and it still looks good and i've had it it the woods a lot!

 

Works for me, its like 10 minutes from my house

 

How is it the online reviews were good

 

So whens the mod day to get these things mounted up?
