Yeah, that is part of the math we are trying to work out.
There are other factors as well.
Im ready for a different phase of my career, and it will be difficult, if not impossible to make that change up there.
I have NO desire to move closer to Boston, and that may just end up being the last push.
Housing cost up there is belligerent.
I can liquidate my place pretty fast. Just cosmetic at this rate.
A lot also rides on our 2 oldest as well...

Either way, IF we make the move... it'd be 6months out, enough time for the kids to finish out the school year, and sort some stuff out...

 

Just got these for my truck. waiting on the mounts to come in and still need to find a center console. Going in my lowered 2wd.

 

What’s funny is our dog is a rescue and came from the south so this is his first winter seeing snow. He goes absolutely nuts messing around in the snow, he’s a damn nut!

If we’re doing pros and cons, I don’t have to mow my lawn anymore until about May-ish this is my weather, I love the cold so I’m in the correct part of the country for me. Looks nice down there though, enjoy!

 

Stacey is a rescue from Grand Cayman IIRC, and we rescued Alley while we were living here.

She'll play in the snow, but, she is happier being solar powered.

I hate the cold. But, truth be told, if I could make the professional changes I need/want to, I wouldn't be looking so hard elsewhere.

I liked them a lot at the Scion event. Perfect seats for a lowered street truck. Come to think of it, I don’t recall the last time I saw a lowered street truck.

I'm off to HF to get one last present. A tool set for my kid

 

I went there a few days ago to pick up another Apache 9800 since they were on sale a little bit. Now all my new recovery gear sits up there. I wish the damn kinetic rope wasn't so stiff and takes up so much space... I could only fit that, the 30' tow strap, tree saver, soft shackles, and Morrflate.

 

I'm back and I was successful!

Damn, that’s a nice toolset. If that’s a starter toolset, should be set for a while.

 

Seriously? When is enough enough??? I'm trying to watch Elf with the kids but noooooooo! I'm subscribed to Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Disney ÷ and Sling but nope I can't get it! You've got to subscribe to Starz? Nope! Not gonna do it! Sorry kids! I'll get the DVD!

That's been the climate lately, everyone wants their cut of the pie. Me n the wife wanted to watch chopped now there's a food network app? Ugh

 

Same issue with Christmas Vacation and A Christmas Story...

 

My wife and I watch Love Actually every single year because of all the Christmas movies, that's ours. We got a new TV earlier this year and I traded out my dorm room style but fancy hold four video game systems for a very adult console hutch. There's no space for my Xbox or a BluRay player. No problem, I fished an HDMI cable through the wall from the TV to the floor under the console. Think it worked when I hooked in our BluRay player? Not a chance. So a $1.99 rental it was to see a movie I've seen 14 times now.

 

We just watched that a couple weeks ago, such a doofy movie hahaha

 

Oh, I agree, but there's a lot of memories tied up into it now so it's a nostalgia trip at this point.

 

I can get Christmas Story (plays nonstop on TV all Christmas day) and we ended up watching Christmas Vacation but we failed at getting Elf!
