That's awesome, I really want to come back to this area again this summer or ASAP. Blitzing through and just looking at maps when I stop at night has made me realize there's actually a ton out here. If it was just me solo on this GC-area trip I might have stuck around NM instead and gone day by day until I ran out of time.

Probably works until you turn left. I did see a car screaming down I-90, full highway speed with the driver wheel gone, absolutely gone, sparks flying, grinding the rotor down, oblivious or drunk or high or really really dumb.

 

Top of my skull I had a 82 Grand Prix in 1991..the 84 Monte with the V8 in 1992..1993 the 83 V6 Monte. My folks had a 79 Monte new.

Holy ****. I LOVE it. I wonder what 84 month financing would look like. There's no way I'm getting one for less than 35-38k and even at 0% for 84 that's still double my play budget.

I don't know if I could forgo the removable roof and I doubt it comes with a sunroof.

 

Not gonna lie, I kind of like it! I have no use for it and will never own one, but I like how it turned out.

 

I like that they got everything it needed to be right, hell subaru isn't even gonna make the sti for the foreseeable future anymore so the fact toyota is still willing to make this is awesome

I went inside since they weren't busy and asked for whoever was driving the Toyota. Local kid, rolling cheese wheels in this incredibly clean Supra. All the trim intact, even the factory lip under the bumper never curbed.

While he was showing me the car the other weekday driver showed up:




Fully built, bored, and piped. Wants to blow it, looking for period correct parts. Also 100% intact.



Kid with the Supra is 2nd owner. Traded a 1gen Miata to some secret car millionaire in CA last October, who wanted the Miata for his kid. He says he dailies it but is looking for a beater. Hr wants to sling za for now just to day he did it.

No but she's a gearhead like me. I wanted a quieter exhaust on the STi, she said I'd be single... So I still have a loud exhaust on the STi!

Hindsight I should have kept the STi and bought an early C4. Oh well.
