it's good to have friends with discounts.

I get a discount at a swimming pool store if anyone needs pool chemicals this year, just let me know.

    Plugs and wires good?
Damn, just had to get both the bed and the body. I'm curious to hear whats causing the rubbing based on the damage, doesn't look severe enough to have hit a spring hanger.

It's a "Whump, Whump" sound, so I think it involves the wheel and/or tire. There is some damage on the wheel near the bead, so that might have something to do with it. I should know more by Tuesday morning.

A bit achy today, but that's normal. No one in the other car was injured, which is good.

Depending on how curious you are and how much trouble you want to go to you can always slap the spare on and see if the noise goes away. That will tell you if it is the wheel or not. I would probably just wait until Tuesday myself.

I thought of that, but it's at the shop now and I trust whatever the body guy tells me.

It's like anything else. If I can't trust the guy, then why am I using him?

I agree. My suggestion was not driven by mistrust but by curiosity. In my younger days I might have lacked the patience to wait to find out an answer and I might have swapped the wheel just to see what difference it made. In my older, wiser days I can wait until Tuesday!

Ditto. I was patient for five hours waiting for the no show tow.

I have a rental to get me through the weekend, so I'm okay.

Does anyone know if the Registry still requires drivers to fill out accident reports? Or is he police report and insurance claim sufficient? It's been 20 years since I had a reportable crash.

My wife was rear ended about 11 days ago hasn't had to do so yet. Key word, yet. She has at least a damaged bumper cover and tailgate (2014 Rav4) plus personal injury that will well exceed $2k

I looked on line at the RMV site, but there was no info. No downloadable form either. I can always call my PD and ask.

This is the best course of action in my humble opinion.
