Usually when people are racing Subaru's, they have 2 or 3 extra engines for when they blow up .

My dinky little solar panel sail is 20W.

It'll be fine for something that sits around for extended periods but not of any real use for broverlanding stuff.

Is there a way to put like a small 10-20w panel to rechargeable AA batteries? I wanted something to keep the batteries topped off for the chicken coop door and light

    product in question: https://www.omlet.us/shop/chicken_keeping/automatic_chicken_coop_door_opener/

Without knowing the voltage you need off the top of my head and being tired and not wanting to dive into spec sheets at the moment :)

I'd recommend over doing it on the controller. I have mine on 20W now, but it can go up to 120. Doing 100 (maybe next year?) for a fridge. For how cheap this stuff is nowadays, why limit it?

A friend had an Outback XT that he bought used. It was on its third short block before he cut his losses and traded it. The first was probably poor maintenance from the previous owner. Second only lasted a few days. Third sounded like it had a tiny knock developing a few months later. He thinks the dealer tech who did the rebuilds had no idea what he was doing and that was the reason for the short life of those.

Yeah, that is definitely believable! I am shocked though that a dealer tech would rebuild an engine at a dealer, I feel like they would just buy a new short block, but maybe some dealers are different than others.

I think I saw this in the dad jokes thread, but it’s very true. Any machine is a smoke machine if you run it wrong enough.

Good to know. The shootings were about 15 miles away from my home and the guy ditched his car about 2 miles away, as the crow flies, 5 miles via a vehicle. Most everything is shut down locally. No work for my wife or for me. Shelter in place order just renewed 5 minutes ago. My wife works in an elementary school that is located a half mile from the boat launch that he ditched his car at. Helicopters can be heard and a flight tracker app allow you to follow where they are searching. The New Hampshire State Police helicopter has been on site last night and today. WBZ in Boston sent up one of the helos to fly over the two shooting locations and where the primary search has been going on. It is all a bit surreal for Maine. I know, it can happen anywhere but there are years that we have less homicides for the entire year then what we had last night.

Yea I need to get some cable crimps and make the rear cable I have for it shorter. I have a cable for an 88, but the rear axle is an 85 which is narrower

Agreed. Sky 7 news copter out of Boston just flew over. Not sure where they are heading. Another helo is circling the place where the shooter's car was ditched last night.

So tacomalifestyle is offering me an at cost discount for a front bumper and refunding me the SSO order.

i was looking at the backwoods hilite alum/steel bumper. 85 pounds.

I know there’s less strength with the aluminum shell but curious on peoples thoughts
