A winter's night in Beacon Hill
    Cobblestone street
Street lamps glowing in the softly falling snow
My heart lying on the brick sidewalk

Like a bad Hallmark Channel Christmas movie....

Pic reminds me of the time on 128. A jack knifed tractor trailer. Mid way between I 90 and I 93 sent us through a few towns that were worse off ( traction wise) than 128. lol. I made it thru ok. It sure was picturesque sliding thru those red lights in the 4 am hour.

Anyone want a free "4x4" emblem blackout overlay? i bought a kit for my truck and ordered that extra piece by accident. Local pickup in the greater Portsmouth, NH/Kittery, ME area only.

This is how I do my lunch daily if I make lunch at home. Meal prep into pyrexes, throw it in the toaster oven while I run, wolf it down after my run. Also got some small sheet pans that can fit side by side the pyrex and each other for the same idea.

Started working on another platform for behind the driver seat for the dog. :) Don't have the exact height and width measurements for some of these, so those random 1'3 3/16" etc are kinda wing it dims for right now.

    upload_2023-11-27_10-17-33.png

I'm also going to get a piece of plywood to drop in the bed as well, to be an anchor for a bunch of screws, bolts, and tie downs instead of hoping for the best. Strap down the coolers, fridges, gas tanks, etc straight to the bed with an infinite level of tie downs (in theory) with T nuts and D rings. Kinda like this. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/fridge-slide-install-directly-to-bed.657575/page-3#post-25998904

Tired of stuff being kinda willy nilly back there. Will be interesting to see how it all shakes out. I have the tonneau on now, but that comes off with the tent, so we'll see!

I've already discovered moving two bed cleats to the edge of where the Tonne clip for the first lock is allows me to use my cargo net about 2ft into the truck from the tailgate..I run a rope through the bottom of the net and tie that to the D-rings...SO I can open the tailgate, pull down the net and toss things in it...So far so good for things that are not too massive.
I thought I would hate a tonne but it's growing on me

    BTW
I'm liking the MPG so far.... I thought people were exaggerating 23-24 but I could see it happening with summer gas, warm air and no A/C
    Couldn't touch 22mpg in my previous...usually 20.x if I drove like grandma.

I gotta tell ya , I bought two golf clubs on eBay a couple fairway woods. They spent years rattling around the back of golf cart. Chipped and scratched. ( which I knew about) but what blew my mind was the care he took packaging them. Totally encased in foam! I’m like these clubs couldn’t get any worse with or without a a carton. lol. But hey it’s the effort that was appreciated. And I certainly did.

I undercoated our 4Runner over the weekend. I used a spray can of Fluid Film on one side and Blaster Surface Shield on the other. The blaster goes on thicker and creates less mist in the air. Seems like less ends up on the ground. We’ll see how they hold up over the winter. I can’t believe how rusty that truck is for being only 6 years old. It’s the rustiest vehicle I’ve ever owned. I’ve never had to put any undercoating on any previous vehicles.

I fell in be love with cobra back in 2016. Just the iron set. But I had ( and still have) the cobra SS series driver 3 an 5.
Now I have 4 bags full of cobras. F max
to lady lol. I’m on my winter bag now. Basically a bunch of clubs from Taylor made to top flite. But the other three are. For serous outings. Either private or public. But all have cobra irons and premium woods. My wife even has a set but she’s only been out once and for a beginner can hit the ball decently. But the game hasn’t taken to her yet.

Did you take any pictures before undercoating it? I am just curious, since my brother recently bought a 2012 GX460, and a couple weekends ago, we cleaned up the frame and front/rear suspension of loose rust with scrapers and a needle scaler, then undercoated with WoolWax. Thankfully we didn't find any soft spots, but there was a lot of rust scales built up.
