Who did you have do it?

 

It was a guy I accidentally came across, on a Tacoma group on Facebook. He's not on here though.

 

What do you need wired? I just hate the fucking T taps that we put in and just want to hardwire my connections. Just haven't had time to pull the headlights out and do it

Cool beans. Yours look bad ass! I read your post about the t-taps... I did the same thing for now, and hoping to clean it all up in the summer once it's nice out, and possibly redoing it all as far as the wiring. Also gotta "clean up" the mess of wires too, make it neater.

 

That's what I was hoping for was to get together a little Convoy.

 

T taps suck! I think i have 2 on my entire truck lol.

Im going to be doing an auxillary fuse block soon. Ill be ordering it today I think with all the parts. I have 5 auxillary items id like to clean up the wiring and put some nice switches in and just do a nice clean install rather than the rats nest under the hood now.

Im going to get new harnesses and rewire the fog lights, ditch lights, and light bar, wire up the compressor, clean up the bed lights power, and install all the switches in the pannel. Should come out nice as long as I take my time and do it right. I really hate opening the hood now and seeing all the wires and shit.

 

Also, I have a really nice butane torch, heat gun, and solding tip that works awesome! one of my favorite tools I have for sure. Im sure ill be bringing it in my wiring box if you would like to use it that day. Heres what is is...

I'm with you on that the t taps do suck for anything especially if it's got the chance of getting moisture on it. No I do have them on a few things on my truck as well. You're the most part the only thing I think they're good for is on the fog light anytime mod because it's in the fuse box. I fairly frequently pressure wash my engine bay and I've never had an issue with moisture getting into the fuse box so I think they're safe in there

Might have to go pick one up. My dad's 20 something year old butane soldering iron doesn't work worth a Damn anymore

 

i have two t taps, and they annoy me just being there. lol

 

@Blais03 i may pull the trigger on that fuse block as well. well see what happens!

 

I'm not running that blue sea thing. Talked to the service managaer and he says it's way way over kill than you'll ever ever need. He says he would never spend $32 on something like that and it's way too big. I'm going to run a small 6 fuse block with a a cover.

Me too until I realized there was no difference in them other than price. a fuse block is a fuse block, you really cant screw it up. The one im looking at has led indicators if a fuse blows and a cover and for 6 fuses its $10.
