Btf makes a set that pushes the lca bj forward 1” I think. I think jd lower pivot kit is what id spend my money on rather than aftermarket lcas

Sorry, I duh'd and put LCAs, when it should have been UCAs.

I really like my uniball DK lowers a lot. I got about 40-45k of hard use out of the first set of balls and swapping them on-vehicle was cake with the Icon press kit. I'm being a little nicer to the new ones and we'll see, but IDGAF if I have to do them every 40k forever. Their newer BJ LCAs are supposed to be just as good, but standard BJs instead of FK uniballs. Even when the uniballs were completely blown (teflon liner squirting out) I had zero concerns about them actually coming apart.

They were also just freakin' fine in Salt Hell, just be sure when you replace them you go with the stainless option from FK, not the standard. Only a couple bucks more, they look brand new after 3 winters other than the blown liners.

Not sure, we didn’t rip them out, but the bolt itself had a very nice groove cut into it, so I can only assume it was bad. I’d rather be safe than sorry and just do the whole damn thing and not worry about it for another little while longer.
Maybe by then I’ll get aftermarket LCAs and some long travel for a more squishy comfy ride.

Triflow is the recommended dope. I actually got very little noise from mine even not doping them so often, unless there was a lot of fine grit or salt.

I also just noticed for the rear link is just for normal com-10t. You probably want to pick a stainless option. FKS-SSX10t

Ah crap, too late, ordered that yesterday. Oh well. If anything the rear ones should be ok compared to the fronts.

I’d want something that locks probably. When I change my setup I’ll need something for a chainsaw

I greased a piece of hardened chain and ziptied a bike tube around it to secure my HiLift and it's been great for about 200 years. There's a company that makes nice padlocks that key to your truck key. Every bracket can be a locking bracket. Just run the chain thru the handle.
