IThey made a catch for the filter oil that you can slip a hose on to pour the oil out to your pan. Nice idea and it works good

Well I noticed while building this bumper that the inside of my tires are bald. Camber is at -0.5 one side then -0.7 the other. So like not horrible.

8/32 on the outside and 0/32 on the inside. I think it’s toe causing this

Might put my URD high clearance Y pipe up for sale. Not sure if anyone would be interested in it. 3rd gen. Keeps it up under the plane of the T case. Never installed

Just to double check, it’s the same as doing the exhaust reroute right? If so I’m actually highly interested.

Its a little wild but I think it came out great. I havent seen another like it.

Had some issues to work through but I think it came out great. Its going to need a bit of a redesign before I make any more.

    73 lbs w/o bullbar, 80 with bullbar

    What do you guys think?

Jack that looks great! And I swear it was like two days ago you started that thing. Most people say "I'm going to build a bumper" and then 6 months later "Well, I have some tubes laid out"

Who are the electrical wizards in here?
I think the 12V i set up for my fridge is playing shenanigans. Not surprising, I did a solid C- job on it.
But I have a slew of electrical tasks I wanted to run
    • Redo connector end of fridge in cab, and make it Anderson connector
    • Run the 8AWG to the bed and add an Anderson connector back there for the fridge.
    • Make a wire for the fridge - Anderson to the fridge connector (looks like a standard 12V)
    • Rerun wires and add Deutsch (sp?) connectors for chase lights

You're not far off. Plasma on Thursday started on Friday. And by Monday night it is all tacked up and basically ready for finish welding.

I think the general design will work better on 3rd gen because I think the grill comes out more.

I am thinking about getting a kit for the Deutsch connections and tool. Wondering if splitting a bit kit might be cost effective.

@TacoTuesday603 are you going to leave the hybrid arms that long over the wheelwell or trim it back?

Maybe coordinate a mod day attendance with the tool @TacoTuesday603 ?
I only need to do a couple, so I'd buy a bin of mating connectors but not sure I can justify the tool.
Especially if I can buy a 6 pack and bum the tool off someone else :spy:

I'm thinking 2 of these - one in the bed somewhere, one in the cab (also, somewhere...)

And great news, they're rated for >10k insertions :)

Good with me, driveway isnt flat enough for jacking up trucks but good enough for electrical work
