    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    I've been watching them all and think I am watching every thread here related to power steering at this point. I love that the guys truck is rustier than mine.

    Pm'ed a few. General consensus buy as much new as possible. Trying to salvage parts cost to much time

    Of course I'll be helping to do yours. I'll be a pro by then:anonymous:

    Where do you bring the used gear oil? AutoZone says they only take used engine oil.

    I didn’t have any issues bringing gear oil to orielys or advance. I think they mostly just Russ about bad gas and coolant

    O'Reilly's......they actually take engine oil and gear oil as long as it is not mixed. They actually test it before dumping it to make sure there is no water, transmission fluid, or antifreeze in it. The have a small metal probe that they use with their computer. It's actually pretty cool. Then you sign a waiver for liability and they take it after confirmation that everything is separated. Takes about 2 minutes but it's worth it.

    Gear oil and engine oil can't be mixed? Or either of those can't be mixed with the other stuff?

    Literally nothing can be mixed with nothing......the computer can sense different velocities. If you want to come over my place on Sunday November 6th to do your stuff, I can get rid of it for you.

    I was actually thinking of doing it tomorrow. But I'll take you up on the offer if I don't get to it. I guess I should buy a separate container for gear oil. But I'm probably going to dump the xfer case and diffs in the same container though.

    It is not bad at all sir. I only have used Mobil 1 or Amsoil, but Mobil 1 is an average of $17 a quarter and Amsoil is $24. If you are doing the front, rear, and transfer case, you are looking at 7 quarts total. You also need to pick up the crush washers as well. I will be putting up an exact list including quantities and part numbers soon for people to pick up.before November 6th.

    @AllTacosFloat saw you are looking to get the exhaust reroute and a new skid. Where are you getting the reroute done?

    I like Lou's custom exhaust. Good at what they do and don't care to do anything else. They just do exhaust and welding.
    Bringing the pic Jared left in here to them. Figure they have done it before but it's pretty strait forward.

    I think a lot of people use Lou's custom exhaust. I'll probably go with them if I get the skid.

    Sadly, my dog broke a tooth and has to get it pulled.. which means she also needs an ultrasound to make sure her heart murmur didn't get worse.

    So only mod for me is possibly taking out my CB drop kit to see if it makes the truck smoother or not, since MLO put it in when my truck was running really harsh (it helped) but turns out they did my rear blocks backwards and there's still some vibes

    Probably a week after the new skid arrives :bananadead:

    Really anytime, they have a lot of locations. See if one is close to you. We've looked before and they are busy enough they aren't cutting any deals.
