I plan on playing on the beach or as close to the beach as I can get

 

I'm not sure what the rules are for playing in the sand on the beach in ri. Usually any dunes are off limits.

Yes! East Beach. It's not the same as the cape. I haven't been out there with the truck, I don't know that they do day passes like the cape.

My wife's best friend have a home on Jerusalem Beach in Narragansett RI, I'm going to park on his sand pill and try out crawl control. They are close to the peninsula.
Her husband is sad he sold his Tacoma, he now drives a Rav 4., I told him his wife took his manhood from him. ladies vehicle.

I've taken the Jeep to the cape on the beach. I'm not sure how the taco would do. I'd like to try somewhere local with it.

 

Another good brewery that might have some space for a meet is Jack's Abby/Springdale in Framingham. They also have a restaurant.

 

If it becomes a regular thing I'm thinking it would rotate so all suggestions welcome. I like the Framingham location cause it's closer to me but it's a big area to have any one meet up location.

Also, I don't/ can't drink, so I really have no say in location. I just hang like @ABA180. If it fits us legally and has some grub I'm in.

 

There is a parking lot, and I think you can arrange events there. I guess it would depend on the number of people going.

 

East Beach is drivable to an extent during beach season. You can drive on the sandbar during beach season April 1 to labor day. Outside of that time frame you are free to drive right on the beach. A permit is required. Resident permit is $100/year, out of state is $200/year.

3 day passes are $50 and single day passes are $15.

There's a good bit of off season driving to be had and it's great for fishing.

Sorry you still need a pass off season but you are allowed to drive on the bar and beach, compared to during season where you're limited to the sand bar and sand parking lots.

I'd say it's still worth the time to get a day pass if you're interested and don't want to foot the bill for the yearly pass.

 

Is that included in the seasonal pass for the beach parking at state beaches?

 

It isn't. The beach parking is separate. The CRMC oversand pass allows you to drive on the sand at the beach. The beach passes allow you to park in the paved lots.

Have done it in NY and NC. I know Maryland allows it also, i just haven't been. Id hit up RI the next time im up there.

Is the day pass applicable to out of state?

Beach meet would be pretty rad. Did the cape years ago and that was a blast. Nothing compared to west coast with free access and bonfires
