I have it in my Google Calendar for the weekend after labor day weekend, I'd consider doing a campground Friday night. Northeast Overland Rally is in CT that weekend too, in....somewhere East so Saturday might be heading toward that - TBD. But could absolutely be convinced to spend the weekend beaching/camping.

 

Oooo that could be a fun get together too. I think I have a pleb 2 day weekend the following one :/

 

Weekend after labor day weekend, which is the....9/10 this year I think. The guy I tagged comes out from Albany NY (ish) area that weekend. I already have Friday the 8th PTO just in case

 

I have sliders to put on my truck if I haven't by then, should be something I can tackle solo though

 

Are they bolt on? I take mine on and off myself, I just use jackstands and a jack.

Can definitely give you and hand if need be tho. Or if they are weld on I can do that too.

 

What part of CT are you? I head down every once in a while.. like pretty rare but I can let ya know next time I go

 

Bolt-on, can definitely do it myself and with the help of my brother if need be, it's more a matter of finding the time these days...

Are you going to the Rally on Sept 9th and 10th? I might be going there as well this year. Thank god it is not in October again.

 

Is that the one we went to last year? I would do that again.

 

The first time they go up, it takes a while. I took mine down to repaint them (I think, can't remember) and put them back up, that second time only took me about an hour soup to nuts

That's what I'm thinking. Friday night overnight on the cape, head back Saturday to the rally thing and they had camping there right? Saturday night there, home Sunday.
