A buddy asked me to... weld this... back together. That is no longer steel sir, that is known as iron oxide

ATF? You might not want to do your ATF, you're kinda just at that cusp where you shouldn't.

    upload_2023-12-19_8-31-53.png

Someone a lot smarter than me can start to get into it, something to do with detergents and the transmission is adapted to the older fluid and new fluid will wash out some of the stuff in the fluid that's making it work :notsure:

You need to try the old soda bottle and length of fuel line trick.
Drill a hole in the cap for fuel line and a small hole for blow gun. Pressure blows the oils right in there. Just gotta be easy on the pressure [/QUOTE]

I can see that going well

Nah I'll give it a whack. I'm not shy. I gotta do the brakes too, so the compressor will get a workout. Little tiny pancake but it should do the trick

When you coming back? I might have to extend my spraying due to something that recently came up. Could use the extra money

Oh shit, forgot you moved. Closer to
me now. I can help if you need, would need it to be a warmer day. Doesn't spray too well if it is cold out.

Also need to figure out why my sprayer is shooting woolwax out the top two breather holes in the sprayer every now and then. :bananadead:

edit: go to drew first if you can if he can

Yeah reminds me I needed to take the drums off to get that done too.

Okay, if you've been on the ATF, good. You can probably trim that down from 25k, but it's cheap and easy, so do you :)

Technically I'm at 67.9k, without plans to do much this winter, but a plan for a trip to the grand canyon in the spring. I was thinking to do it all before that, but it might make more sense to do it all after. Would put me up around 80k, I THINK, for miles, when I'd be doing all the stuff. Plus you see threads/posts of people who don't do nearly anything for about 100k miles, so that's reassuring.
