I want to figure some way to make sure spindles arent bent when I get them or I mess them up when welding

 

Slide pin fixture/jig setup I would say, maybe with some target points

 

That's going to be my first try at it. I am a little worried about the spindles tolerances are out of the factory. Not like the UBJ taper alone but the relationship from that to the hub mounting surface I could see having variation leaving the factory

 

I'd assume common axis has to be .005 maybe .010"

Probably has a call out from taper centerline to wheel bearing face surface.

They also look like forging instead of regular castings so variation of materials should be less than standard casting

Are we able to confirm a weekend for next mod meet? My squeaks can be heard like a half mile away, lol. I should get it fixed this year.

I'll make the 19th work, 26th is auds birthday and she might actually kill me if I run off to do truck stuff

Parts started arriving today, I believe everything has shipped as of today. I can’t do the June 8/9, daughters graduation weekend.

19th might work, but I think what I would do is get them from you to press out those bushings and ball joints, and replace them so they are ready. I have yet to get new cam bolts and all related hardware.
