@AllTacosFloat a little birdie tells me you moved your battery to the bed.
I just got a 27F agm last night. Might be curious to see/replicate that.

It was Matt. Matt was the little birdie.

:rofl:Not me! Well kinda. I have a truck toolbox that I have fit up to hold a battery and did for a bit. Too many worries of impact. I do plan on the back seat duel batteries again.

I had duel batteries behind my passenger back seat in the last truck. Bet you could get it behind your driver seat.

i probably have plenty of welding cable to make your long runs if you’re looking heavy duty

I found that thread too. That's kind of what i want to try to avoid happening :D

Might be able to fit it in the back somehow.

Cheers thanks - I might have to take a look at it.

I have the cubby area behind the rear passenger seat still available. Might look to see if I can stash it there...

The front end weight loss routine doesnt work as well as the rear. Crash bar + removed plastic is only 23 lbs.

Solidworks says my design is 81 lbs.

Nah, it'll be easy to find - it'll have been launched through Matt's windshield, he'll deliver it right to my truck!

I am looking at the relo to the second battery spot but was planning on the cowl intake there.

Drill some go faster holes through it, problem solved!

Winch plates/supports aren't going to do you any favors for weight reduction.

Do you already have the support brackets in there?

^^ Turd gen but I can assume you can find something for second gens.

I do want to relocate my battery as well at some point, jd fab is coming out with a cubby box for batteries but it's spendy and I'm cheap lol. I'll probably try to figure out a box at the bed bulkhead instead of putting it where my head will likely be sleeping in the cab :anonymous:
