If the piping is in and the electrical is in and you're just doing a like for like replacement, it's not bad.

But it's also not bad for labor, in that case, either.

The question I ask myself would be - how many water heaters have I installed? How many have they installed? ..... Okay, let's let someone do it who won't explode the house now

I used to be scared of electrical, happy to do plumbing. Now my opinion is flipped. Typically if you jack up electrical, a fuse blows or a breaker trips. If you mess up plumbing, you find out when you have water damage...

 

I had planned to get shark fittings and hoses. Already have the tools for them. Remaining question was pressure relief install plus moving it.

 

I'm the opposite...I can see water leaking...electricity, not exactly

Well, between yesterday and today... was expensive.
Today ordered the 5th wheel and tire(need a spare right?)
And the 6112s w/ 650lb coils. Hoping these will be in by 6/8 as they're the wildcard.
Also need new ubolts and the leaf spring spacers, but, those should be a problem.

Everything else is here, and ready to be installed. About to be my crazy busy season, and I am not sure when I'll get another shot at this...

 

I have 650# coils on mine, i think you'll like em a lot. Welcome to the club

 

Mine was at just over 4, heavy springs with no added weight, they have settled a little but not a ton. You may also need a PHB kit to straiten that out. I believe there are some bolt on ones out there now, I welded an extended mount on.

 

Did a little fabricating today, working on bolt on slider plates for the GX.

 

Switched out the pan hard bar with an adjustable. Alignment scheduled for Friday

 

@crashngiggles , which day would you like? If the 8th I have to leave by 4 which usually is quitting time. Really what day is best for you, Chase and Harry ?

 

Anyone rock mudflaps on a steel bumper?

 

Mine will kinda depend on when those 6112s actually ship...
I mean, we could get everything else done, and I could do those later if need be...
