I think any weekend works for me actually. I usually commence hibernation into December so we're good for November.

Only concern would be ice vs water, and snow on the ground. Oh and access to the campsites. But I know Halloween weekend they're open still at least.

The road up to the campsite we stayed at in Woodstock closes at least for mud season, not sure if before that for snowmobiles/etc.

I would say the bigger concern would be ice. In the shade, those trails won't melt easily, if they ice over that would be chaos. I'd be there to watch for sure, but chaos nonetheless.

When I let one rip, it whistles in a tone only dogs can hear.

Howdy all, 4100 miles, 22 days on the road, about 18 involved driving, did probably 150 miles of dirt and other Forrest Service roads following parts of the jeep 500 Smokey (https://www.advrider.com/f/threads/smokey-mountains-500-jeep-route.1450014/), and lots of paved mountain stuff. Most roads Subaru stock friendly, except for some water crossings and some real big ass ruts where roads started washing out and the motorcycles have helped dig down.

I would have done some more dirt and stuff, except I started hearing clunks and maybe metal slapping metal at times. I haven’t a clue what’s causing any of the noise and have just begun looking on line for “trouble shooting info.”

From what I have read, that seams to be the first thing, the other thing is the sway bar, but I know for a fact that’s not making noise, unless someone is in my shed moving it.

According to measurements these should be able to accept a NMO mount in the center. The inside is spotted, just havent drilled it out and test fit one yet.
