Corned beef? Never thought of that. Need to talk to you about that at a meetup.

Corned beef is just half a brisket. Either the flat or the point usually.

You don't add the seasoning packets and it's essentially just a brisket.

Hmm it might be. I don't know I don't do it, I'm not a big red meat guy overall.

Correct. I rinse it off, and when I make my rub, I DONT use salt.

Flat or point. Flat is much more common, less fat. Point has more fat(good thing).
Much easier to experiment on a $30-40 piece of meat, instead of a $100 chunk.

It is brined, not salt cured.

Looking forward to seeing everyone today.

Completely off topic but does anyone have an idea on moving a toolbox? I don't have a trailer or trailer hitch.

    Same!

What about a rental truck, maybe something with a lift gate?

Maybe someone close, Jared:anonymous:, might have a trailer that could help you out.

Do you have tow package and just no hitch or not even a receiver?

Just how big and heavy is said toolbox?

Edit: Look at Ryder also. They offer liftgates.
