@HAVOC , quick question .....are you thinking about picking the toolbox new and transporting it back to your house or job....or are you talking about moving a full loaded (with tools) toolbox from one place to another?

The toolbox is not quite full but will need to be moved from my current job to the new job. I could always remove the tools and move them separately if it helps.

It's getting it up into the bed that's the problem, then again when I try to unload it. Are you saying to get a couple guys to lift it?

Time to buy some straps if I do plan on moving it with my truck.

So without a tow hitch or package that might be your only option. I was going to say if you did have a tow package, you could have borrowed my trailer and aluminum ramps to get it on and off, but getting it in and out of your bed will be difficult fully loaded. If you take all of the tools out of it, you can borrow my ramps to see if you can get it in and out of your truck with it empty if that helps? I can bring them with me to treehouse....if you want to try that? At least save you some money or hassle on a moving van...

I didn't know it was loaded with tools. In that case I would definitely empty the box and chuck it in the bed.
Better would be find a friend with a lift gate.

Sounds like a plan. When I unloaded it, it was on a skid (minus wheels) and we used a cart (with a hydraulic platform) and a lift to get it off the truck. There is a fork lift at the new job so getting it off might not be a problem.

It was nice seeing everyone yesterday.
I hope to have my harness done so I can install it at Jared's house on Saturday. That will be the same weekend that I will be moving my toolbox so I may not have time to drive up there.
