:spy: I was voluntolding your tool not your driveway.
    But noted!
I'd volunteer my driveway, would also do well for electrical, but I think I might only be slightly closer for Harry to get to vs Jared/John, probably you but depends on the weekend traffic

Oh also, did someone want a bullbar from me? I did some bad math and made this one. My lights are just a little too tall.

It might be a dumb question.

What about putting the bracket on the bull bar? Does it push outward at all?

I already made another one, these lights cant be mounted from the top.

Outward? Im planning on tipping it forward so the tube goes 1/2" in front of the lights.

This bullbar can be setup basically however. ends arent notched so the only thing thats set us the max height and the distance between the bends/bend angle

Not sure if thats what you were asking

Nah this is what I was getting at

    upload_2024-9-3_13-14-28.png

Hang them upside down on the bull bar if it goes out at an angle like a mini stinger.

Its tilted forward a bit but I dont want the lights to be the furthest thing forward.

These lights cant be mounted upside down either. The mounts are a lil goofy.

Welp, I figured out my tire wear problem. I am toed out 15/16" which is about 3 deg.

It doesnt make sense to me how I could be toed out, toed in I could see being a slightly bent tie rod

Yeah that's a weird one, toe'd in could be from any number of things but I can't think how you'd end up with that much toe out

Im thinking maybe a bent spindle. Ive been meaning to ask you, what gussets do you have. It seems most of them dont fit with spcs nut

My first NMW trip this year it was pretty yeehaw and there was a few times I was surprised the airbags didnt go off. There was one point where I was standing on the gas and my ass wasnt even in the seat

Ah I understand now why it doesnt work. The 1/8" extra on the gusset makes it so the hole doesnt line up with the castels

    Belmetric to the rescue.

    That's dope.

Have you considered cutting ABS panels as splashguards for the open areas? You could ziptie them to the backside of the tube to preserve the look and keep a lot of road spray out of your shit, or I guess go bananas and tack nuts on the back and use shorty screws?

And everyone with the Jreadies - you can get crimp-on pins that aren't the barrel style, I use them and they work great, no need for the special barrel crimper that way.

Complete course change on the fridge wiring. Ish.
Still doing Anderson's but not doing flush mounts, and have them in the mail already. Turns out with a little bit of thought instead of jumping in willy nilly makes the plan a lot easier
The bed - I'm probably going to run wires straight from the battery instead of splicing and then getting them out from the cab to be on the same circuit.

I was originally planning two flush mounts - one in bed, one in cab. Sort of like this, and an unknown where in the cab it would be.
    upload_2024-9-4_12-6-13.png

But the revelation was to just mount them flush like this instead

    upload_2024-9-4_12-6-39.jpg

Means I just get screws into the bed side (don't care) and somewhere in the back of the cab, probably on a bulkhead from the seat, etc - again, don't care, that's way easier than cutting holes and doing the flush mounts. The bed will be mounted either facing down or backwards though instead of upright

That should make life easier! Parts will be here in a couple weeks ish. The chase lights will be a spring project probably.
