Thanks. I appreciate that. I will need a corner bumper piece and sensors etc. and I didn’t know there was a sensor inside the bumper that effects the blind spot monitors too. I saved all the large broken parts that fell off. He was driving a new rangers. It punctured his radiator and destroyed the front end. And he just got it.
poor guy. He felt a mess. I told him don’t worry that’s what accidents are accidents happen at least everyone was OK I was shaken up my backs a little sore so I’ll have a doctor look at it when I get back.

Poor guy. That was my biggest fear getting my taco was an accident before I knew it’s dimensions better.

Ambitious  Good luck with the rebuild and thanks for your service :hattip:

You might want to try some headlight restore. It’s cheap and takes no more than an hour. The dazzling results might help distract people from noticing the paint :D

$400 vs $40 is the real answer.
I dont even like snorkles but one time In some sticky mud, it built up so bad it clogged the intake port in the fender well that it stalled the truck. Had to get out and clean the muck out to get her started. Another thing is most snorkels are smaller in diameter and I read many stories of people who are forced induction having problems with tuning. Basically, a longer tube in a smaller diameter can restrict air the blower wants to suck in. Im not sure how true but didn't want to deal with issues. But again it came down to $ and I was bored stuck at home with a broken ankle at the time. Im not as worried as some of you guys are about the looks. She was keyed real bad when she was 2 weeks old, just washed, waxed and debaged her that same day. Its been downhill since but again she is a streetable wheeler. After the rear end is done the 38's go on im going bob the bed. Once all the major work is done something like raptor coat will be sprayed to keep her decent.

I'm going to do the cowl intake I think it'll be $40-50, I also don't like snorkels for the most part.

I've been contemplating doing the same thing to mine. Haven't dug in to see if it's been done on a 3rd gen though. I'm sure it has.. but, most people prefer the look of the snorkel I guess.

Is that the stock intake tubing? I've never seen it done with that.

Though, not sure when I'm going to get the opportunity.
