Interesting! I grew up in the NEK! Sutton, Burke, and Lyndonville. Left there to enlist in the Navy in 1971. Have relatives still living there. Sister lives in Wheelock.
I actually wore a ST. Jay Academy baseball uniform to play in the Babe Ruth all-star tournament in 1969 (much to my chagrin, as I was attending LI).
There are a lot of New Englanders who don't live in VT who have strong family ties there.

I am a Maritime grad too. I think there is another guy here who is a grad. I am class of 2006 and 2010. I went back for my Masters. Wheaton is a great school, I did my first co-op there.

 

His name is TJOPilot. I think someone also has a MMA LAX license plate or license plate frame.

 

Too funny! I got out in 1989. Know a lot of people teaching and working down there. U working in industry?

 

He and I are pilots on delaware river. He is a close friend. He went to the dark side and sold his Taco for a Tundra

 

I am working as a Facility Engineer at a Biotech in Hopkinton.

I should have known that. My room mate is a deckie working on Tugs down in the gulf and wants to become a harbor pilot eventually.
