    You missed the trip by about a month. The beach is beautiful, wheeling on the sand is unique for the east coast outside of the OBX. You can’t camp on the beach without a permanent setup IE you need more than a spackel bucket to shit into. We stayed at the Adventure Bound campground in Truro that is walking distance to the beach.

    Looks like much coarser sand then on South Beach on MV that I was on last year.

    On South Beach you definitely needed to air down. They had a large air compressor in a shed back on the main road heading out with four air hoses for free use.
    Their prices are way higher, $140 for the year or $60 for the day.

    It was fairly course like a 2/3 sieve on the beach side. The paths on windward side of dunes that never get washed by tides have had all the fines pushed up and are like talcum powder.
