I was thinking of getting a new exhaust that sounds deep but not something loud and obnoxious anyone with suggestions would help me alot. And also do I have to buy a whole new exhaust or can i just get headers?

you can get the shorty headers.. the long tube might not be street/smog legal mattering on state law. for us, we could do the short tube that mounts to the cat.. you can always get high flow cats and a high flow muffler of some type.. but you're gonna get a rumble with any of this

I just had the Magnaflow Turbo XL with 3" tips installed yesterday and I like it. Originally I looked at the Flowmaster 40 but didn't want it extremely loud, but I am really happy with the Magnaflow so far!

What part of south Louisiana are you from? I know up here, they don't care too much about exhaust. My relatives are from the southern half, and I know they don't care out there.

i had the flowmaster 40 lastweek but the muffler place took out the spare so they could do duals. i took it back and wanted them to run it around for my spare tire but they were gay so i ended up getting a single magnaflow without my rear cats and a mbrp tip. the 40 was perfect as far as how loud it was but didnt have a great sound. the magnaflow is almost silent when ideling but when i get on it,it sounds great do to the fact that i dont have rear cats. Im sold on the MAGNAFLOW setup i have right now!

Flowmaster delta 40 is a perfect sound, just right imo, not too loud and not too quiet.

Got my Magnaflow muffler installed number 12256 yesterday and I love it! Deep and just a bit louder. :)

Truck feels a little bit more responsive too!

    Kind Regards,

Installed the TRD system the other day.
Small difference, little rumble just off idle, not obnoxious.

But I went with the TRD, cheaper and it seems to fit what I was looking for good sound not loud but noticable. I have a harley that I use to get my angry hot rod rumble.
