Man.... these came out in less than a year from the time I bought my stock lower replacements... Pretty cool that now its 100% bolt on. I spent like 2 hours trying to grind down the steering stop on the stock ball joint cradle haha, I should probably go back and do some more. I still worry about the contact between the cradle and the LCA though... there's definitely wear on the weld, this looks like a way better way to mitigate that issue.

@TOTAL CHAOS can the secondary shock mount be temporarily used as a place for a limit strap? aka before a secondary shock/hoop has been installed?

Weight shouldn't be a issue at all since it is not being used directly on the tire with centrifugal force.

@TOTAL CHAOS Does the stock length LCA's have any changes built in to them to help correct alignment numbers? IE: built-in caster.

No they are a stock replacement. Our UCA has more caster built in and we didn't want to add more into the equation with the lower.

Just ordered a set from Poly Performance! Not sure I'll see any return on the investment regarding performance, but I just can't help myself. I love a beautifully machined/manufactured piece of kit. Wish me luck!

BTW... I'm fully expecting that I'll need to chop my cam bolts (seized)... Any recommendation on superior replacements?

Nice. You will definitely see an improvement off-road. I have the first version that required some cutting and grinding of the cradle to make room for steering. Overall there is less play and just a more solid feel imo. My buddy drove my taco after I put them on and noticed a difference as well. I noticed a small loss of “car” feel on the pavement though.... with that said my truck is planted on the road like a mfer. Just solid. It helped having a friend do the install, especially for lining everything up. Extra floor or bottle jack will work too.

I ordered my lca bolts through the local Toyota dealer, might as well order some lower shock mount bolts while you’re at it for a swap or future use. Good luck man.

I like not worrying as much about a trail failure when I'm beating on the suspension....which is pretty often. FYI...the steering may feel fairly stiff at first until the uniballs get set. Took a couple of days for me.
