I too live in the bay area, and that kind of water entry is normal. The cover is not water proof.

I ordered mine from auto accessories garage on Friday morning.
I'm in Southern California, does anyone know how many business days it took to get it delivered?

    Thanks in advance!

Exactly. People need to understand that. It's a truck bed.

Talked to auto accessories garage this morning.

Just wanted to know how long it would take to ship.

Turns out that they take orders and the cover gets shipped straight from the manufacturer. Ann Arbor, Minnesota. 3-5 business days after it ships.

It also makes me feel like auto accessories garage is probably the cheapest website to order it. They probably make 10% after the20-15% discounts they give, just for making the order for extang.

Yeah they are some nice folks to be from Northern Illinois. Talked to them a couple different times and they are very helpful. They do not pressure you to buy either like some of those places do.

has anyone have better [pictures of this molding? possibly installed? looks better than the ones that came with my extang Tonn.

got a good rain yesterday here in CT and got lots of water. from all sides of the bed. i didn't clamp the cab clamps "too" tight per previous posts and the rear tailgate clamps I used the lower mounting holes (to make it easier to latch and unlatch. Water was seen in corners towards the bed. both of the sides . most dry part was suprisingly towards the tailgate.

    any suggestions?

Remote Starter, LUND Nerf Bars, Interior LED Lights, LED Lights Under The Hood,

The cover doesn't seem to lined up properly on the top ridges (both sides & near cab) from the pictures you posted.

Anyone with this cover, would the Toyota bed extender get in the way of the rear locking latches at all?

i have had tons of tonneau covers and I have watched mpg before and after installs. The gain in mpg is negligible if any. Some studies have shown a decrease in mpg with tonneau. I have friends who say they got 2-3 mpg increase with a tonneau but they smoke a lot of weed so not sure if that's the best test group.

    Thanks for the link.

I've also heard otherwise about Tonneau covers...

Great. They say it's more efficient with tonneau but don't mention anything about how much more. Also that's a lot of weed smoke in that tunnel!

I agree. Even if its just 1 more MPG, it will take you a ton of miles to cut even with how much you spend on the cover.

What might make the cover a reasonable deal, besides being able to throw stuff in the back without worrying about them flying off would be the fact that it does protect the dumb composite bed of the Taco from the sun.
