I have a friend who has one and it damaged the seal but it was a foam seal not rubber. It is a tri fold cover but I am not sure if it is a Solid Fold. Anyways, gave him some silicone spray and told him to spray it on the foam and rail so that they won't stick together during winter time. He said it works and he sprays the foam and rails with silicone from time to time.

I got mine thru the "Corrosion Free" dealer here... he does all kinds of "add-ons" from light to wheels, all mods. you want... etc, etc... I thought that because it's already in there getting rust protection and a real hand-job wax job for the winter.... it's a good time to add the tonneau also...

Seeing your from Canada, partsanything.ca guarantee lowest price and offer free shipping..prob where I will be buying my cover and side steps. They had a sale on the 6ft tri-fold for $955CAD, have yet to see a better price.

After researching & reading all your reviews I figure I give it a go... Just purchased the 2.0 from AutoAccessoriesGarage.com for $655.20 with the Holiday TAKE20% coupon. You just have to call once it's in the cart to redeem it and give them the code at the bottom of the checkout page! Now all I need is my Taco.. Hopefully they get it in by next week!

image.jpg image.jpg I installed the Extang 2 hard cover and took my 15 through the car wash. It is leaking through the two gaps in the bed on the can side. While at the dealer today I checked another 16 with the factory tonneau cover and it had rubber plugs in the gaps. I fornthebpaet numbers from parts but they couldn't order them because they are not available. Can anyone else get these two parts?

I got the tri fold and like it alot paid 737$ from auto everthing a great company to do business with. Holds 400 lb on the lid evenly distributed years ago I had one of the first tripanel covers made by a company not in business anymore. Aero cover it had 3 panels that were hinged and individual locks front two panels opened up like suicide doors and the tail panel opened up from the tailgate. Any panel could be removed in 10 seconds. Wish I had pics sorry. to be clear it did not fold but all panels were hinged and lockable

I just ordered the extang 2.0 also earlier today. Took less than a minute for the rep on the phone to apply the 20% off in the cart.

It is watertight except for the two gaps in the bed rail that is closest to the can. I have a few other posts in the part numbers needed for the runner inserts to plug the two gaps. Dealer cannot get the two parts yet but they come on the Taco's with factory tonneau. 62541-0410 & 62542-0410

I'm going to get some rubber door window molding to fill the gap. I also have a rubber seal behind the cab and a tail gate seal that goes up the sides and bottom mine seems to be dry car wash and rain
