Getting my 4th Tacoma in about 2 week. This time I getting a TRD off road DC. Has anyone had the dealer install the new Factory TRD lift(2 inch in the Front and 1 inch in the Back)? I have a couples questions.

Is it worth the Money( mostly looks for me)? I will go on some trail here in Colorado.
What are the bigger size tires I get put on without rubbing issues?
I look at the TRD 17 Rims but can just stay with the Factory 16 rims too, please advise.

    Speedometer Question
Can you recalibrate the speedometer or does the dealer have to do it?
If the dealer does it what is the cost?

Please advise if I missing anything too.
    Thanks

To me it was worth it to keep it under warranty. Others will say there are better lifts for the money. You don't need to have your speed odometer recalculated because of the lift. You can run a size up tire and it will still be pretty accurate

The cost is $2000 to $2400 for the lift.
I also have just a curious question and Fuel mileages not that it matter.

With lift and bigger tires what should I expect for fuel mileages?

I bought mine with the package and I love it. It also comes with blacked out badging/exhaust tip and the TRD Pro grill. I just recently purchased a set of the TRD 17's but, haven't gotten tires yet.

Bilsteins 5100s on the top setting, 4runner Gray TRD Pro Sema wheels, 285/70/17 Toyo AT3s, Sumo Bump stops, TRD exhaust, ECGS Clamshell bushing, 1/4 shim for the lean and one inch rear block, OEM Pro grill and garnish OEM TRD Skid plate, TRD CAI, Demon Brackets, Rigid Industries Pro fog lights, OEM Trail Rails sidebars, Diode Dynamics LED SL1 high and low beam lights, OEM Roof racks, Clazzio leather heated seats, Remote Start, TRD Pro shift knob, tinted windows, Rockford Fosgate 4 channel amp for the headunit and sub and amp combo, OEM Puddle lights, OEM tailgate lock, OEM bed mat, LED interior lights, OEM blackout kit for letters, JLT catch can, upgraded 27F toyota True Start battery, Vleds led tail light kit with Pro tail lights, OEM Rave4 side mirrors with convex spotters, just to name a few mods.
Do the 5100s, cheaper and they are pretty much the same except 5 vs 4 setting on the TRD shocks. They are re badged Bilstein. Going aftermarket wont void any warranty. They the dealer have to prove the aftermarket parts caused the issue. I did 5100s with a few thousand miles, no issues and after a few years I'm already out of the 3 year warranty. If I was in your shoes 3 years ago and they had the overpriced TRD set I would have still done the Bilstein, plus the 5100s are a lifetime warranty too.
